One step towards human friendly innovations and inventions in

Electrical Engineering is the Smart Grid, which provides solutions

for the rising energy demands. It transforms the energy production

and consumption using a network of digital interactions be-

tween the user and the power grid. The smart grid can inte-

grate wind and solar energy productions which makes it more

Self-Esteem: Self-esteem is how we value ourselves; it is how we per-

ceive our value to the world and how valuable we think we are to others. Self-esteem affects our trust in others, our relationships, our work – nearly every part of our lives. Positive self-esteem gives us the strength and flexi-bility to take charge of our lives and grow from our mistakes without the fear of rejection. A person with low self-esteem feels unworthy, incapa-ble, and incompetent. In fact, because the person with low self-esteem feels so poorly about him or herself, these feelings may actually cause the person’s continued low self-esteem.

Here are some signs of low self-esteem: 1) Negative views of life 2)Mistrusting others – even those who show signs of affection 3) Fear of taking risks 4) Feelings of being unloved and unlovable 5)Dependence – letting others make deci-sions 6)Fear of being ridiculed

There are some simple, positive thinking techniques that can be used to help improve self-esteem. 1)I respect myself and others 2)I am lovable and likable 3)I am confident, and it shows 4) I am a good friend to myself and others 5) I accept myself just as I am 6)I look great 7)Life is

good, and I like being a part of it Self-esteem can play a significant role in your motivation and success throughout your life. Low

self-esteem may hold you back from succeeding at school or work because you don't believe your-self to be capable of success.

Since transmission is a main part of the power system it should be more efficient. During trans-mission there is a loss of 30%energy .To elimi-nate these losses we need a new technique which is called recent trend. The recent trend for efficient transmis-sion of power is the "wireless power trans-mission system". In this wireless power transmis-sion system" comprised of Transmitter and re-ceiver in which we get an efficiency of 95%. The transmitter can op-tionally employ a macro adjusters and micro ad-justers that direct the beam onto the receiver for optimal power trans-mission. Either the re-ceiver or transmitter may also encode data on the energy transmission, resulting in one way or two-way data transmis-sion.

Education and employment

Our educational programs should be designed to

seamlessly align academic and technical instruction

to meet the prerequisite expectations of employers

and to ensure that every student has the opportuni-

ty to continue their education and seek career suc-

cess. The program of study must be designed to have

the opportunity to earn an industry recognized cre-

dential while simultaneously engaging with employ-

ers to familiarize themselves with the culture of our

system of education. Such established relationships

with job providers, business representatives, and

institutions of higher education play a vital role in aligning education and

training programs to ensure that students and adults can move efficiently

FUTURE OF POWER GRIDS

Power utility networks are becoming smarter, automated and more connected, as they

gradually transform into Smart Grids. Looking forward, there are several key trends that

drive the design of tomorrow’s utility networks – most of which are closely connected

with the rise of IoT (Internet of Things) – and which need to be accommodated by ade-

quate communication solutions. Smart grid integrates advanced sensing technologies,

communications, and control methods into the electricity grid. The enormous expansion

of computer and communication devices being deployed in the grid is resulting in an

“explosion” of data becoming available through field measurements in substations. The

data recorded by various intelligent electronic devices installed throughout the power

system contains very valuable information about measurements during disturbances and

switching actions in the power system.

Wind power has truly become an important component of the modern energy

supply. The installed capacity of wind power achieved 487 GW, with 54 GW

added in 2016 alone. Wind power accounted for 55% of the renewable power

capacity globally, not including hydropower, and accounted for 3.7% of global

electricity production by the end of 2015. LAKSHMI MADHURI Asst. Professor

FACTS OF ELECTRICITY: Electrical energy use currently

330TWH p.a. ,peak power 60 GW Domestic gas use+ road transport

fuel = current electricity use One lightning bolt has enough elec-

tricity to power 200,000 homes. Recycling just one glass jar saves enough electricity to

light an 11 watt CFL bulb for 20hrs. Nuclear power plants are the most efficient source of

electricity, operating 24/7 at a 90% average capacity fac-tor.

Your brain generates enough electricity to power a light bulb.

UNVEILING THE SIXTH SENSE The creativity & the innovation, which is involved in the technology, have made it possible to realize this method, which was only dreamed by the other persons. The device is a wearable device. Which uses many techno gadgets to account for the working similar to sixth sense, which includes camera, protector, mirror, cell phone & color caps. If a person wants to take a picture he can just realize with the help of finger action. Later he can project the picture on the wall & sort it in the order of his or her preference suitably. Surely there will be effort in the future to compact the size of the instrument, which can place around the neck to spread its popularity.
