Chairman Speaks
What I am is God's gift to me what I became is my gift to God.
"Strong Lives are motivated by dynamic purposes; lesser ones exist on wishes & inclinations. The most glowing successes are but reflections of an inner fire.
We in Vidhya Vruddhi have tried to do credible activities in all areas of opportunity. I shall call these activities as invisible activities because they are not seen once they are conducted and over. But I am sure such activities have definitely reached to the minds & heart of all our students & Parents.
During this year we have tried to maintain a very good standard in our pursuit to achieve our goals. But never shall we be satisfied in yesterday's accomplishments nor shall we indicate in self praise for our achievements as we can achieve far more than what we have done & continue to put our efforts to surpass every action which we have performed yesterday.
I take this opportunity to thank you all for giving me this opportunity to serve as the chairman of PTA for third consecutive year. I was ably supported by our vice Chairman Mrs. Preeti Naik, Secretary Mrs. Seema Keni, Jt. Secretary Miss Anupama Naik, Treasurer Mr. Babuso Naik & other Executive Members. I congratulate & thank all the members of other committees for successful implementation of activities like Sports Day, Exhibition, Saraswati Pooja, Teachers Day, to mention a few. We could achieve this success due to support & encouragement from Madam Rukmi Dangui & Shri. Uday Dangui.
It gives me immense pleasure & satisfaction in presenting this issue of "SPARK" for this year 2014-15. As the name suggests, this magazine serves as the tool to bring out the hidden talents of our students teachers & parents. It gives them an opportunity to showcase their potential. Also we have highlighted the various activities carried out during this year, achievements of students etc.
My thanks & appreciations go to the magazine Editor Mrs. Priya Verlekar & her Editorial team for all their efforts & hard work put in bringing out this issue. I also thank all our sponsors, advertisers & well wishers for their patronage.
I conclude with an appeal to every member of PTA to remain fully involved & committed with our Sincere efforts to the cause of our children because changing a life or the world start with each one of us.
With Love & Regards, Sudan KuncolienkarChairman, PTA, VVS

From Principal’s Desk
Regards,
Mrs. Rukmi U. DanguiPrincipal
Vidhya Vruddhi Saunstha
Time is the deposit each one has in the bank of God and no one knows the balance.
At the beginning of the school year, for an
administrator it is hard to untangle all the tasks
falling under his attribution. While dealing with
all the co-curricular, curricular and the class
activities, leaves hardly any time to tap some of the areas. I
appreciate school PTA for working vigorously for shouldering
responsibility of some school activities.
I congratulate the school PTA for this year's edition of the school
magazine which showcases not only school activities and
achievements but also the talent of our students, teachers and
parents.
Studies show that parental involvement plays a significant role in
student achievement and performance. A strong parents group can
make a tremendous difference in how a school functions.
My appeal to all the parents to support altruistic work of PTA
Executive committee and sub committees which will give boost to
their enthusiasm to sketch out novel activities for the development
of the students in future .

Take time to laugh, It is the music of the soul.
Science has invented a number of machines which are very useful for man in his daily life - Everything that the modern man uses from morning till night has been manufactured by one machine or the other. Machines lift weight for him, plough his field, cook his food and also serve it for him. Computers have made calculation easy and swift beyond imagination. The inventions of such machines save human time and drudgery.
The blessings of science are its inventions in the field of medicines and surgery. Human pain and sufferings have been conquered and the life expectancy has gone higher. Science has invented a number of drugs such as Penicillin, Cortisone etc that are very useful in everyday life. x-ray, body scanning machines are the window through which we can peep into the inside of our body. There are machines with which we can peep into the entire human body and detect diseases. Major operations can now be performed and broken limbs set right without the patient feeling any pain. Different parts of the body can be replaced by artificial ones. It is expected that atomic energy, when
a large scale would transform human life.
Science has added to the human comfort in various ways. With electricity man can turn night into day and carry on his work with perfect ease. In summer he enjoys cool breezes by the use of electric fan and air conditioner. Many inventions of science are used for our recreation that provide amusement for both the rich and the poor. Through radio, we can enjoy music, drama, short stories. Through the television we can see drama, dances etc. being staged at television station.
Science thus is a great blessing for mankind. Its utility in everyday life is unlimited. But the inventions of science are being misused in various ways. Instead of using aeroplanes for travel, we use them to drop bombs. In this way the blessing has turned into a curse, and it is feared that science will destroy humanity. Science should be a compulsory subject to study, so that man may understand its true nature, and put it to right use. If our country needs to progress, more scientists are urgently needed. Therefore science should be taught to all.

Love is the only thing that multiplies when divided.
To maintain a healthy heart, active brain and optimally working muscles, you must take care to eat a balanced diet that provides proper nutrients to your body. These nutrients provide you with energy as well as stronger bones and muscles. Nutrients also aid in the regulation of bodily process, like blood pressure and digestion.
The importance of Eating Nutritious foods
1. Weight controls - A diet that is full of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains can help you loose, maintain or control your weight. Replace high fat and high calorie foods with nutrient rich items.
2. Blood Sugar Control - Sugary foods cause spikes in your blood sugar. If you consume too many sugary foods like white bread and concentrated fruit juices, overtime you can develope type 2 diabetes. Carbhohydrates in oat-meal can help to reduce and regulate blood sugar.
3. Heart Health - High fat foods cause high cholestrol and a buildup of plaque in your arteries, that can lead to stroke, heart attack or heart diseases. Eat healthy fats, like those found in nuts and avocados which gives you fat without the plaque buildup.
4. Deceased Cancer Risk - Fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants that help neutralise the damaging cells known as free radicals. Free radicals are highly unstable and can lead to cancerous cells. Antioxidants create a stable cell enviornment.

Only when we learn to see the invisible, will we learn to do the impossible.
One lady was seen looking for something in the street in front of her house. A neighbour, going to the mosque for his prayer, stopped to ask her what she was searching.
She said, she was looking for a needle. The neighbour thought, she must be a determined but slightly eccentric woman, how could she expect to find a tiny needle in a street? When the neighbour returned after a long time, he found the lady still hard at work. Wanting to help, he joined the search and asked her to remember where she had lost the needle. The lady answered, "Inside the house".
This irritated the neighbour who then out of curiosity asked how on earth can a needle lost in the house be found in the street.
"well" answered the lady, "I see, you go out of the house to look for God every day, so I thought I too had a better chance of finding the needle outside.
"The neighbour was stunned by the woman's insight."

Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and started giving each one a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room. Now these delegates were let in room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other ,pushing around others and there was utter chaos. At the end of 5minutes nobody was able to find their own balloon. Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon. The speaker began… Exactly this is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is. Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness, you will get your own happiness. And this is the purpose of human life.

Application of science in life
A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.
Today's modern age is called as the age of science because of the wonderful discoveries, achievement and advancement made by man in the field of science. Science has changed the way we purchase products, the way we live, the way we communicate, the way we travel, the way we learn. It has helped man to conquer time and space and has turned the world into a global village.
Below are some of the different fields that science has provided us a life of ease, leisure and pleasure.
1) Use of science in Homes -
At homes the house wife has a array of gadgets to make her work easy. Washing machine helps her wash clothes. Pressure cooker, mixer grinder, cooking gas, microwave help in cooking. Refrigerator stores and preserves food for the day. Besides, these, air conditioners, coolers, water heater, geysers, are all a part of comfort and pleasure that science has brought into our homes. Also the house we live in is designed and constructed using scientific knowledge of engineering.

6) Use of science in Transportation
Travel is faster and more comfortable today than it ever was. Advances in technology play a key role in shaping transportation systems. It has yielded cheaper, faster and better transportation services. Improved transportation technology has increased trade in goods, as well as daily, seasonal moment workers student and tourist. Long distances can be covered in a short time through modern means of transport like supersonic planes, train, ship, etc. Due to technological advancements transport is not producing much pollution and engines are gradually being developed to use more renewable energy sources.
7) Use of science in agriculture - Scientific and technological advances have greatly impacted the agriculture industry resulting in increased production and abundant food supply. Farmers have improved crop production through the use of global positioning systems. Advances in farm machinery have changed the way farmers work. One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip"? "It was a great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they

Application of Science in Daily Life
It is said that science is the religion of the modern age. Science has changed the thinking of modern man and has exposed him to a lot of new things. Science is the modern god of reason that abhors blind faith.
Science has provided man with great material comforts and amazing facilites. The trains, the aeroplanes, the sea ships, the space ships, to say least, are some of the undreamt of wonders of science. The space has been annihilated. The whole world has become a very narrow place. One can have breakfast in Delhi, lunch in london and dinner in san Francisco. Today, there are innumerable electric and electronic gadgets for the comfort of man. The stove, the L.P.G., the heater, the geyser, the air conditioner, the electric generator, the refrigerator, the washing machine etc. provide comfort to man. The television , LCD, LED, touch screen mobiles, tabs, etc. provide him with exciting amusement. He can no longer feel bored.
In the field of agriculture, numerous water dams have been constructed. Agricultural and irrigational devices invented increase the production of crops to feed the millions. There has been a great increase in industrial production. Big factories and mills, equipped with complicated machinery of great skill and awful technology. work day and night to produce innumerable items of use, ranging from small needles to huge ships.
Great discoveries and inventory in the field of medical science have greatly mitigated man's misery and even tried to banish altogether some disease like chickungunya, polio, dengue, etc. Much more attention is now given to child and mother's health. There have been great discoveries in the field of nutrition and diet. Mortality rate has fallen and life span has increased. New techniques in education are being developed. Telecommunication system, computer system, etc. have brought about a revolution in all fields. The meteoro- logical space-crafts forecast weather to near accuracy. The success of Indian's Mars orbiter Mission, affectionately nicknamed MOM, brings India into an elite club of Martian explorers.
Despite all the comforts provided by science where man can not only walk on earth like an animal but fly in air like a bird and swim in water like a fish, it is a pity that he has also developed and amassed horr ib le weapons of destruction. These weapons threaten even his very existence on this planet. If man stops production of such weapons, he can banish poverty, disease and ignorance which are his real enemies. Let us hope better sense prevails on us.

Importance of Sports
My favourite Sport
All work and no play makes jack a dull boy is a popular saying. There are different types of games and sports Table Tenis, Ludo, chess and Carom are indoor games. Football, Volleyball, Cricket etc. are outdoor games.
Sports are very useful to students. They give a good exercise to the body. When a man becomes active through sports, he does his work with care and interest. Students generally work in same room. They do mental labour. Physical activities are very necessary for the proper growth of the body. In short, sports makes us active and healthy.
In this age of machines everybody is busy students and office goers work hard during day time. They get tired and feel dull.
sports give them relief and pleasure after work. A visit to a film requires money but sports give them relief and pleasure after work. They make us physically strong and mentally well balanced.
Sports make us disciplined. Players have to follow rules in sports. The referee’s decision is final on the playground. Whether we like or not, we have to follow the rules of the sports. Sports have healthy effects on every growing indiscipline among students today.
A sport should be played in the spirit of the port. The mobility of sport should not be lost. Victory is not all that matters. The main thing is the participation in an event. Thus, sports should be played in good spirit and friendly gesture.
Cricket is my favourite sport and Sachin Tendulkar is my ideal star. Though, I like to play badminton, football, table tennis and volleyball too, but they are secondary to me.
Cricket started first in England. Later this game spread to many other countries of the world, including India, Pakistan, Australia, New zealand South Africa, kenya and Bangladesh.
In a cricket team, there are eleven players. The team has a captain and a vice-captain. There are two kinds of cricket matches - a test match and a one-day match. In a one-day match, each team plays fifty overs. Each over has six balls and bowler can bowl a maximum of ten overs. The captain who wins the toss, decides whether his team will bowl first or bat. Test matches are played for five days. In a test match, both teams have
to play two innings to get the result. But five days are not enough to play two innings so, most of the test matches end in a draw. In this types of matches an additional over is played, who scores more wins the match.
One Sunday Night a of few of my friends decided to play a match. My team “Rising star cricket team" played a one day match against the Indi-Fighters team. I was the captain of my team, we won the toss and elected to bat first. We made a big score of 200 runs. The Indi- fighters team was all out at the score of 176 runs. We won the match by 24 runs.
The game of cricket is really exciting and I wish to play an International cricket match as a player of India.

Today
Happiness is a wonderful commodity, the more you give, the more you have.
Today I Smiled, and all at Once things didn’t look so bad.Today I Shared with someone else, a bit of hope I had.Today I Sang a little song, and felt my heart grow lightAnd walked a happy little mile, with not a cloud in sight.Today I worked with what I had and longed for nothing more,And what had seemed like only weeds, were flowers at my door.Today I loved a little more and complained a little lessAnd in the giving of myselfI forgot my weariness Mrs. Juhi Vaz, Teacher
Sports and games are very important for us. They keep us healthy and fit. They offer us a change from the monotony of daily life. It is a useful means of entertainment and physical activity. Sports and games helps in character building. They give us energy and strength.
Sports and games are means of mental and physical growth. During sports we come to learn many things. We learn how to maintain mental balance in the midst of hopes and despair. They make us learn how to tackle the difficult situation. Sports develop a sense of friendliness. They develop in us team spirit. They shape our body and make it strong and active. They remove tiredness and lethargy. They improve blood circulation. This improves our physical well being Education without sports is incomplete.
My favourite Sport :- Swimming
Swimmings has been my favourite sport since I was very small. I learnt to swim when I was just 7 years old. Swimming is a very popular sport.
Swimming is a sport for all age groups, besides it is a lifetime activity. Swimming is cheap you dont' have to spend much money on it. All you need is just a swimsuit that makes you feel comfortable and a goggle that keeps away water from your eyes. Swimming is one of the most popular sports in the world. As all your muscles are used during swimming, it is an excellent from of exercise swimming builds up muscle strength; so your body is kept in perfect shape. Besides its physical benefits swimming is also a great recreational sports giving you peace of mind to continue with your day. Swimming has numerous advantages over other exercise and if done consistently will keep you in shape for a long period of time.

The tongue has no bones but it can break you back.
A game is an activity involving one or more players. sports and games improve our capability sports and games are means of mental and physical growth. Sports and games are very important for us. They keep us healthy and fit. They offer us change from monotony of daily life. They improve our daily life. They make us learn how to tackle difficult situations.
My favourite Sport :- Badminton
Games are played primarily for entertainment or enjoyment. But may also serve as an exercise. Everyone in this world has their own favourite games, so do I. My favorite game is Badminton. Badminton is a western game. It is an indoor game. It is played in a hall which is called a “court” It is played between two single players which is called “singles”. It is also played by four players making two pairs, which is called “double game” This game needs some implements to play. Each must have a racket in his hand and a shuttle cock. The shuttle cock is made of Cork and feather.
Badminton is a game of skill
A Badminton player should have strong hand and legs. He should be very agile. He should be able to run quickly, jump, and hop instantly. I am a good player of badminton. I enjoy it very much. I go to the stadium to practice daily in the early morning as well as in the evening.
There are certain rules of the game, that the player must follow. The player stands opposite to each other. A net is hung between them. The referee counts the points. The player who scores the maximum over the other player within the fixed time limit wins. The game is expensive because of necessary implements, but I like it because of its benefits. The game gives us full exercise. While playing badminton one must be alert and watchful. He should have full judgement skill of tossing and placing the shuttle at such a place that he wins a point.
All these qualities of a good badminton player get into us if we practice the game daily. That’s why, I like this game very much and never miss to play it. I hope to play for my country some day. I shall continue to play it all my life. I think that playing sports like badminton keeps my body healthy. Playing Badminton is very interesting because every battle that you join is an excitement but at the end of the game there is only one winner and a losser.

The Examination Hall
The bell goes and all are in their seats,
Eyes all set on the given sheets,
The different contours of the faces seen
Some tensed some doomed and a few bubbling with tune.
The atmosphere of silence everywhere
Only a slight murmur here and there
The turning of papers or falling of a pen
the supervision reviewing his craftmen with care.
Their heads down their pen scribbling
Ventilating the answers on the paper sheets
Disturbed by a yawn or a sneeze
Some speeding, while a few relaxing for the ball to squeeze
Its tedious watching the dolls and Pauls,
Attentively sirring for the band to toll
One feeds as if, attending a dumb, deaf ball
That’s the atmosphere in the Examination hall

There are two times when to keep your mouth shut: while swimming and when angry.
Goa better known as the “Pearl of the Orient” is situated on the west coast of India. It is blessed with lush greenery, golden beaches and serene temples. The people are known for their hospitality and piety. But are the goans of today able to sustain its natural beauty? Well if we look around us, the answer cannot be the affirmative. As Goans we face some major problems which I feel affect our lives to a large extent. Some of the major problems are illegal mining, corruption, garbage disposed and the after effects of tourism. Since we youth claim ourselves to be the future of our state, I think it is high time that we put in efforts to eradicate all these problems as they threaten our very existence. My dream is to see Goa free from all these problems.
Corruption is the another major problems that we Goans face today. In Goa, I have noticed that right from the sweepers to the executives, there is corruption at every level. In recent times, we can see politicians extorting lakhs and crores of rupees just to grant people “regular” jobs. I agree that corruption cannot be uprooted, but at least a strong Lokpal Bill will minimize it. If our great politician do not want to support a strong Lokpal, then it is evidents that they are guilty of being a hurdle in Goa's progress.
The garbage problem is yet another problem that seems to be increasing by the day.
To conclude I feel that the root cause for all these problems is corruption, dirty politics, selfishness, greed and narrow mindedness.
I dream of a Goa where youth has picked up the challenge of bringing about a

When I dig others out of trouble, I find a place to bury my own.
A Teacher of a New Era"Know they self", These words of the great philospher socrates echo in my mind when it
comes to the education of a child. A child possesses the potential in him of all the possible knowledge. A teacher only ignites the minds of the children and helps them to bring the best of every child. A lamp already contains the oil and cotton fibre, it only needs to be lighted and this task is very well done in the process of education.
An ideal teacher takes pain on her part to see her students flourishing. She considers them as her own children. More than a career, she makes loving the children, as an art of enlightening the students. She spends more of her time on those weak and less fortunate students to make them fortunate and happy. She imparts Moral Values besides the textbook knowledge. How privileged is the student who encounters such a teacher.
At this advancing technology age, "Google" is easily available in order to fetch instant knowledge. One is aware that necessary matters can be easily obtained and learned from it. In spite of knowing, we prefer school education. Knowledge with creativity can also be given by our teachers but what it special about our teachers is that they give the human love which no gadget can substitute, Moral Values and humanity inspiration which only a teachers can convey.
The role of a teacher has been rather challenging in the Present era. More than teaching, a teacher needs to understand the capability of a student, give him/her more attention, understand his Milieu, thus enable and guide him in the path of illumination. I m reminded of an anecdote of a teacher who used to always bow at the children while passing by their classroom. When asked, the teacher replied that these children are very special. We do not know, tomorrow they might be prime Minister, the president etc. I may not get an opportunity to see them. Its better that I bow and respect them now. To conclude, a teacher serves as a channel of enriching the fate of a child.

Chhatrapati Shivaji
Shivaji was born in the fort of Shivneri in 1627. Shivaji mother's name was Jijabai
and father's name was Shahaji who worked as general under the sultan of Bijapur.
Shivaji founded the Hindu Kingdom in the Deccan against all odds, fighting against the
mighty Mughal. At the age of 16 he took a pledge to establish a sovereign, Hindu state.
He clearly oustanded the rulers and generals of India by the exemplary life he lived and
was respected by the entire cross section of Indians.
Shivajis thoughts and deeds were inspired by the teachings of his mother Jijabai,
teacher Dadaji Konddev, great saints like Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram and the valiancy
and ideals of the Lords Rama and Krishna. The tiny kingdom established by
chhatrapati Shivaji known as "Hindavi Swaraj"
Shivaji raised a strong army or many he constructed and repaired forts such as
fort of Deogiri, fort of Raigad, Sindhudurga, Purandar, Harischandragad, Shivneri etc.
He also developed a strong intelligence network, gave equal treatment to the people
from all religion and caste based on merit functioned like a seasonal statesman and
General. He appointed ministers on specific function such as internal security, foreign
affairs, finance law justice, religion matters, Defence etc. with very powerful army
Shivaji fought and conquered many battles such as Battle of Pratapgarh, Battle of
Kolhapur, Battle of Pavan Kind, Battle with the Mughalas, Battle of Sinhagad etc.
Shivaji was a lion that had grown up independently in the mountain ranges of
Sahyadri. The hero who escaped from the prison of the Mughal Emperor and became
the ruler of the kingdom devoted to Dharma and the service of the people. As a boy he
dedicated himself to Hindu Dharma. He matched cunning against cunning and
courage against courage; he was one of the wisest ruler and one of the greatest
generals. Chhatrapati Shivaji died on 3rd April, in 1680 at Raigad, after running a fever
for three weeks.

The future belongs to him who knows how to wait.
A Clever PlanOnce there lived three beautiful sisters. An ugly and wicked king wanted a
beautiful bride. So he visited the girls home. Their father knew that his daughter
had thought of a clever plan. He led the royal visitor to the eldest daughter’s room.
She told the king that she was too weak to get up and bow to him!
The second girl screamed in her room, tearing the bed sheets and clothes.
She pretended to be very angry.
The third girl was in the garden laying bricks around a tall tree. she said she
wanted to catch a bird she had seen sitting on the tree. “Sick, short tempered and
stupid!
“Who wants a beautiful bride?” said the king and returned home.

Ammas Picture
Tanmay V. Sankolli
In the art class, the teacher told the children to draw picture of someone they loved.
Zai made a picture of his mother(Amma). He was very pleased with it. He put it carefully in
his bag to take it home.
On his way back home after school, Zai met snowy swan as he passed the pond. He
showed snowy his mother’s picture. "Oooh! That's lovely picture," said Snowy swan. "But
isn't the neck too short?" Zai took out his box of crayons. He did something to the picture.
"Its that better?" asked Zai "Perfect!" replied Snowy Swan.
On the other side of the pond, Zai met Frisky Frog. He showed his mother's picture.
"Hey that’s great!" said Frisky. But aren't the eyes too small and thin? Zai took out his box of
crayons. He did something to the picture. "Is that better" asked Zai. "perfect" replied Frisky
Frog.
Zai passed the playground on his way. He met his Friend Cully Crow. He showed his
mother's picture. "Wow! That's super!” said Cully. "But isn't the mouth too small and
round?" Zai took out his box of crayons. He did something to the picture. "Is that better?"
asked Zai. "Perfect"! replied Cully Crow.
Zai turned to the corns and almost bumped into Dino Donkey. He showed his
mother's picture. "Hmmm!' That's wonderful!" said Dino. "But aren't the ears too short?"
Zai took out his box crayons. He did something to the picture. "Is that better" asked Zai
"Perfect!" replied Dino Donkey.
Near the big field, Zai waved to Emmy Elephant. He showed his mother’s picture.
"Aahaaa! That's a fine picture !" said Emmy "But isn't the nose too short and flat?" Zai took
out his box of crayons. He did something to the picture. "Is that better?" asked Zai
"Perfect!" replied Emmy Elephant.
Finally Zai reached home. He met Beenu Buffalo standing in front of the gate. He
showed his mother's picture. "Hambrawa! That's a masterpiece!" said Beenu "But why
isn't she smiling?" Zai took out his box of crayons. He did something to the picture. "Is that
better?" asked Zai "perfect !" replied Beenu Buffalo. Then, Zai ran inside the house, and
went straight to his mother. who was waiting for him "Amma! Amma! This is your picture. I
made it in art class today." His mother took the picture. She looked at it, smiled and said,
"Its perfect" and hugged him tightly. After lunch, Zai's mother put up the picture on the main
door. Jai looked at his picture and looked at his mother.??!!!!!

Teachers as MentorsIn any society a teacher has a very respectable place. They are the real makers of
Nation. They are the very torch bearers of knowledge and wisdom who remove the
darkness. They are the very light house to guide the destiny of a nation and a
builder of a strong moral character of the youth. A teacher possesses a strong
moral character and takes personal interest in the shaping of the ball round
personality of the student. Possessed of the qualities of head and heart, an Ideal
teacher never believes in physical punishment. A teacher is never ambitions in
terms of money, social status or political games. He leads a dedicated, simple but
dignified life. If we wish teachers to have a place of honour in the community, the
teachers have to continuously upgrade their professional skills and have a code of
conduct for the discharge of their duties.

NEVER COME INTO TENSION- The moment you are in tension- You will lose your attention- Then you are in total confusion and you'll feel irritation- This may spoil your personal relation- Ultimately, you won't get co-operation- And things get into complication- Then your BP may raise caution- And you may have to take medication- Why not try understanding the situation - And try to think about the solution - Many problem will be solved by discussion- Which will work out better in your profession- Don't think it's my free suggestion- It is only for your prevention - If you understand my intention - You'll never come again into tension!!!

A Visit to BijapurI paid a visit to Bijapur during Diwali Vacations. It was my dream to once visit the
beautiful monuments of Bijapur. So when an opportunity came, I just grabbed it. I had been
there with my sister my parents & grandparents. We had been there in our car. It was great
fun to see the beautiful sunflower garden and enjoy the nature's beauty on our way to
Bijapur. The first thing that we visited in Bijapur was the Gol Gumbaz. It was a breathtaking
sight. This monument has been built by 7th king Mohd. Adil Shah in the year 1626. At the
height of 109 feet there is a whispering gallery. It is one of the biggest dome in the world.
Then we had lunch in a typical Bijapur hotel. The food was very hot and spicy. Then
we visited many other monuments like Jumma Masjid which is one of the biggest Jamiya
Masjid in South India. Then we visited the Bara Kaman which is unfortunately incomplete
and is known as second Ali Roza. We visited Upir Burj which was a watch tower at that
time. Then we saw Malik Maidan which weighs 55 tons. The last thing we saw was the
Ibrahim Roza which was designed by Malik Sandal of Iran.
I enjoyed my visit to Bijapur a lot. So my dear friends whenever you get a chance
please do visit it.

Father is flying a kite. His son is watching him carefully. After sometime son says “Dad. Because of the string the kite is not able to go any further higher.” Hearing this, the father smiles and breaks the string.
The kite goes higher after breaking of the thread and then shortly after that it comes and falls on the ground. The child is very dejected and sad.
The father sits next to him and calmly explains “Son, in life we reach a certain level of prosperity and then we feel that there are certain things in our life that are not letting us grow any further like Home,Culture,Friendship,Family etc. We feel that we want to be free from those strings which we believe are stopping us from going higher.
But, remember son, Going higher is easier than staying at the higher level. And friends, family and culture etc are the things that will help us stay stable at the high heights that we have achieved. If we try to break away from those strings our condition will be similar to the kite”
Moral: “never go away from culture, family, friends and relationships as they help keep you stable while you are flying high”
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lessons To Be Learnt In Life
Compiled by : Sudan Kuncolienkar
Its Matter in Life1. At childhood we cry loudly to get what we like. But
now when we are grown up, we cry silently to forget what we like, that's life.
2. Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it is better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.
3 Genius and successful people do not relax in chairs; they relax in work; they sleep with dreams and wake with determination and commitment.
4. Always pray to have eyes that see the best, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God.
5. There is always a hope and an end. It depends on us how we deal with them: We can look at it as a hopeless end or endless hope.
6. There is no future in any job. The future lies in the person who holds the job.
7. Don't look for someone who will solve all your problems. Look for someone who won't let you to face them alone.
8. A true and caring relation doesn't have to speak loud. A soft smile is just enough, because it's not the mouth that speaks; it's the heart that feels.
9. Your problem is never really your problem; your reaction to the problem is really your problem.
10. What is the difference between truth and lie? Truth is a debit card — pay first and enjoy later. Lie is a credit card — enjoy first and pay later.
11. If a problem can be solved then there is no need for worrying; and if a problem cannot be solved then what's the use of worrying.
12. Success is the problem but failure is the formula. You can't solve the problem without knowing the formula.
13. Do not store dreams in your eyes; they may roll down with tears. Store them in your heart; each heart beat will inspire you to fulfil them.
14. No one has ever won the game of chess by moving forward alone. Sometimes you have to move backward to get a better step forward.
15. Umbrella cannot stop the rain but allows us to stand in rain. Confidence may bring success but it gives the power to face any challenge.
- Mr. Vinod R. Kamat
