Background:• MILS transaction sets are expected to be migrated to DLMS in

accordance with DoD Directive 8180.1 “DoD Logistics Use of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Standards”, as supplemented by USD (AT&L) memorandum dated 22 December 2003 (Migration to the Defense Logistics Standards).

Objectives:• Migration of MILS DOC-ID AS and AU to DLMS 856S.• Accept, Process, and Output XML data from/to DAASC via SALTS.

Lessons Learned

Our process is to conduct a Project Retrospective (includes lessons learned) after the Release Readiness Review (RRR) which is scheduled for 30 Apr 08. The results of the Project Retrospective will be forwarded after that meeting has been conducted.
