DAY 1 | Wednesday

ARRIVAL/TASHKENT

Meeting Silk Road Destinations™ Regional Travel Supervisor and Guide. 10:00 hrs – time to start your journey by discovering old city of Tashkent: largest Central Asian bazaar (market), ensemble that includes Friday Mosque with the Holy Book of Quran (VIIc.) – one of the oldest in the World, Barak Khan Madrassah, Mausoleum Kaffal-Shash and Khast-Imam Square. Lunch at a restaurant. Business visits (hotels and restaurants). Dinner. Time to depart to Bukhara by train. Departure:20:55, arrival: 06:40(+1) Overnight in train.

DAY 2 | Thursday

BUKHARA

Breakfast at hotel. Full day of discovering the most mysterious of caravan cities with fascinating narrow streets and monuments: Poi Kalyan Square, which consists of the XII c. Mosque and Minaret Kalon. Visiting the Madrassahs of Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan, ancient trade domes and Mosque Magok-i-Attari, former Zoroastrian temple, Lyabi Hauz Square with its Madrassah and Caravan-Saray. Lunch at a restaurant. Time for seeing Mausoleum of Samanids, one of the oldest monuments of architecture of the IX-X centuries in Central Asia, Citadel Ark, former residence of the Emirs of Bukhara and Bolo-Hauz Mosque with its twenty pillars. Business visits during the tour (hotels and restaurants), Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3 | Friday

MITAN – SAMARKAND

Breakfast at hotel. Departure to most fascinating and mysterious Samarkand via Mitan village – the Winner of World Responsible Tourism Travel Awards “ToDo!-2014” (awarded at ITB Berlin 2015). Arriving in Mitan. Meeting local residents and discovering the rural lifestyle of most of the population of Uzbekistan. Lunch in a local traditional house. Continue drive to Samarkand, arrival, check-in to a hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4 | Saturday

SAMARKAND

Breakfast at hotel. Discover the pearl of the Orient - Samarkand, which evokes a magical name, loud, but speechless invitation to Asia. Registan Square is a great complex of Mrza Ulugbek, Sher-Dor Madrassahs and Tillya-Kori Mosque. Moving on to breathtaking view of Bibi Khanum Mosque, the biggest Mosque of its time all over Central Asia, followed by visiting one of the largest Bazaar in a Silk Road times - Bazaar Siab, the most colorful and busiest place in the city. Lunch at a restaurant. Excursion to blue-and-golden Mausoleum Gur-i-Amir – Mausoleum of Tamerlan (Amir Temur) – greatest conquer and brilliant politician, whose empire spread from modern Turkish Anatolia till the Great Walls of China. Ongoing trip to the village of Koni-Guil, 8 km away from Samarkand to visit the workshop of tissue paper. Participation in the production of IX c. piece of paper. Visit the manufacture of silk carpets to observe all stages of the manufacture of carpets. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5 | Sunday

SAMARKAND

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the necropolis Shakh-i-Zinda, a real pearl of the architecture of XIV-XV cc. of Samarkand, where you can find unique processes of all artistic decoration of Islamic buildings. Visit the ruins of Ulugbek Observatory, the first observatory in Asia, where an enormous sextant allowed contemplating the stars. Lunch at a restaurant. Business visits (hotels and restaurants). Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 6 | Monday

TASHKENT

Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Tashkent via the "Steppe of Hunger", specially irrigated along to the river Syrdarya, where cotton is grown - "White Gold of Uzbekistan". Lunch at a restaurant. Business visits (hotels and restaurants). Farewell dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 7 | Tuesday

TASHKENT/DEPARTURE Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Tashkent International Airport for return flight. END OF THE TOUR

RESERVATION AND CONDITIONS: For reservation and booking your trip, please contact Silk Road Destinations agent by contact details provided below. Please keep in mind that confirmation cost equals to 30% of a total amount of invoice. Payments are available in USD (United States dollars) currency by bank transfer. Rest of 70% must be paid 30 days before arrival of the traveller(s). For last minute booking (less than 30 days before departure), payment must be done along with the reservation. Cancellation and refund policy: penalty of $65 per traveller is charged by Silk Road Destinations if the cancellation is made between 30-20 days before arrival date, rest of the deposit amount is refundable. If the cancellation is made 19-15 days before arrival date 50% of total cost penalty is occurred. If the cancellation is made 14 or less days before arrival 100% of total tour cost is non-refundable.
