RESPONSE
The humanitarian crisis in South Sudan continued to threaten the security, livelihoods, and health of millions of people who have fled their homes – and sporadic conflict continued. Agencies have reached 1.9 million of the 3.8 million
affected people targeted with some form of assistance. Rapid response teams target people in hard-to-reach areas. More work needs to be done in order to maintain this support and to reach those who have yet to receive assistance. The Crisis Response Plan calls for US $1.8 billion to assist 3.8 million people throughout the country– 46% of that funding has been received to date.
