Sunshine Coast TAFE and the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) understand your career development needs and are smoothing pathways between vocational (TAFE) training and university*. Several programs articulate directly from TAFE to uni, giving two qualifications in minimum time. Also, USC offers generous entry consideration and one year’s academic credit for diploma graduates.

If you are interested in a double qualification TAFE to UNIVERSITY, you will only need to apply for one visa for both programs.

I was fortunate to study a TAFE Diploma of Event Management followed by Bachelor of Business (Tourism) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. TAFE lecturers are from the industry so you can gain very useful information from their experiences. TAFE allows you to adapt what you learn in class to the ‘real world’ which I found very beneficial for the industry I selected. Since completing my course I have become a full time wedding planner with an event management company.
