MELINDA GILB co-wrote Suds and orig-inated the role of "Marge". She played the role off-Broadway, as well as in the San Diego and San Francisco produc-tions. Her writing credits include Apple Pie for British television, sketch comedy for the stage revue When Friends Collide and two screenplays. She has appeared on Broadway in Singin' in the Rain, off-Broadway in The Robber Bridegroom, toured nationally in Joseph Papp's The Pirates of Penzance and appeared on the BBC-1 television series The Full Wax (with Mo Gaffney) and Ruby Takes a Trip. She starred in off-Broadway's Back to Bacharach and David and performed the title role in the musical Al-ways...Patsy Cline in several cities. Re-cently, Melinda joined old Suds co-horts Will Roberson and Steve Gunderson to star in their new musical Dixie Highway, which had its world premiere in San Die-go last summer.

STEVE GUNDERSON (co-author, ar-ranger) is an actor/writer/arranger/composer/director who has been the creative force behind many shows such as Two Rockin’ Gents (arranger), Back to Bacharach & David (creator/arranger), Dixie Highway (composer), A Christmas Carol (composer), The Brontes (composer), More Magic (co-author), At The Twilight (co-author) and many oth-ers. He has also done musical scoring for film, television and commercials. As an actor, he originated the role of “Everybody Else” in Suds Off Broadway, played “Sparky” in the hit Forever Plaid for over two years, and had major roles in revivals of Street Scene and Butley. He originated the role of Papa Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas directed by Jack O’Brien at the Old Globe Theatre He has also played major roles in

regional productions at Laguna Play-house, Pasadena Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Alliance Theatre, Alex Theatre, La Mirada Theatre, Canon Theatre, San Diego Repertory Thea-tre, North Coast Repertory Theatre and many others. He has directed at the Golden Apple in Sarasota, Stage West in Canada and the Welk Resort Theatre in San Diego. BRYAN SCOTT (co-author) has enjoyed a career as a writer and producer in both television and the-ater. He created and executive pro-duced the reality series 'Kathy Grif-fin: My Life On The D-List ' (winner of two Emmy Awards and six nomi-nations for Outstanding Reality Se-ries), 'Savage U' (with Dan Savage), 'Sex With Mom and Dad' (with Dr. Drew), 'Running Russell Simmons' and 'Celebrity Poker Showdown' among others. Bryan also worked in the UK where he wrote and/or pro-duced many television programs including 'Tonight With Jonathan Ross', 'Accentuate The Positive' and 'The Full Wax.' He is proud of his TV and stage collaborations with Mo Gaffney, Caroline Rhea, Jennie Garth and Meera Syal. Bryan began his career in San Diego where he was a staff producer at the Old Globe Theatre and owned his own theater, Triteria, where he first met Steve Gunderson and Melinda Gilb which would lead to their creation of SUDS. Bryan currently lives and works in New York and dedicates this performance of SUDS to his late friend and first collaborator, Will Roberson..
