Dear Residents,

As we start the 2015 year, I hope that you will consider participating in many of the great events and programs that the City has to offer. There are a variety of group and individual fitness and recreation programs to choose from at the Fitness & Aquatic Center, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in February. You may even want to get a jump start on your golf game by visiting the year round driving range at Mulligans or maybe even practice your baseball and softball skills in the batting cages there.

We are planning some exciting community events this year that you will want to start adding to your calendars now. Plan to join us for events like the Easter Egg Hunt in April, Country Fest in June, the SoJo Marathon in October, Light the Night in December or any of the other activities and events that you can enjoy with your family, friends, and neighbors throughout the year. Some of these events are listed in this guide; details on the others will be published in additional Leisure Guides later in the year. You can also find additional information about activities each month in the Focus, or by visiting the City’s website (www.sjc.utah.gov) and be sure that you have the South Jordan App on your iPhone and Android devices for all the latest information and updates.

Watch for opportunities that match your interests, whether they’re at the Fitness & Aquatic Center, City parks and trails, the Gale Center, Towne Center Plaza, Mulligan’s or the Community/Senior Center and then come out and join us.

We hope to see you throughout the year!

Best Regards,
