Improving Results for Children and Youth through the State Personnel Development Grant May 8, 2019 Western Dakota Tech—Event Center Rapid City, SD South Dakota Department of Education Office of Public Instruction State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) District Leadership Team Meeting Participants SD DOE SPDG District Team Members SD DOE State Leadership Team Members Purpose and Intended Outcomes Provide the SPDG District Teams an opportunity to review the first year of the grant implementation and to review Action Plans supporting the grant/district work. Review time for state, district, and building data through a dashboard of SPDG components including literacy, coaching, data, and family engagement. Intended outcomes are that district teams will review how their district Action Plan guided the work in year one of the grant requirements, and to develop an Action Plan for 2019-2020 based on data shared and ongoing goals for the grant implementation overall.
