Multiple Intelligences- Children learn in different means, formats, means and representations naturally.

Teachers must select diverse learning tasks to provide for diverse learners. Every child can learn- there are no labels like intelligent, poor, slow etc

Prior knowledge and experiences

Assess the prior knowledge of children and base the learning tasks. The tasks may be at different levels. This is the essential step to

construction of knowledge

Motivation and interests

When TL is based on the student’s prior knowledge, learning styles, and at the right level- neither too easy nor too difficult it generates intrinsic motivation/ drive for learning
