POKER RUN

In 2013 a Poker Run was added. Motorcycle riders and non-riders kicked off the day participating in the pre-show event.

!Participants collected cards at various checkpoints to build their best hand. Then participants met at Soul Seekers to play their hand for a chance to win prizes. !Checkpoints around the city offered participants free stuff or a challenge. Each checkpoint became a mini event on it’s own that further promoted Soul Seekers:

THE RESPONSE

“As a Brand Marketer, and as a motorcyle and skateboard enthusiast, I can confidently say that this was an event that impressed me, both personally and professionally. The “Soul Seekers” event had a consumer base and a lifestlye crowd, that money simply cannot buy. The integration of strategic partners, from Vans, PBR, Sailor Jerry, the Baitshop, and Jason Parker all under the “Soul Seeker” umbrella, was brilliant. The show, the art, the people, the bikes all came together for an event people will talk about…. until they can attend the next one. Lyndsey’s event was a gold star for best practice for this lifestlye segment, and one that is hard to replicate, but will most definitely have a very positive impact on all brands involved.” !Beth-Anne Perry - National Brand Manager - Glenfiddich and The Balvenie Single Malts - WG&S
