B)Workshop: -
The institute has a well-equipped workshop set in an area of 1000 Sqm. With all the major trades viz. Carpentry, Welding, Plumbing, Tin Smithy, Black Smithy, Fitting and Machine Shop.The machine Shop is well equipped with 22 Lathe Machines and other Conventional Machines viz. Milling Machine, Centreless Grinder, Cylindrical Grinder, Surface Grinder Tool and Cutter Grinder, Shaping Machine, Radial Drill Machine etc. Apart from above conventional machines, the Machine Shop has state of the art CNC Milling Machines and CNC Turning Machine. The workshop has Locker facility for above 400 students.
C)Facilities: -
1.Games and Sports: -
Adequate facilities are available regarding Games and Sports. Since 2005 the institute has been selected as a Zonal Head Quarter of Inter
Engineering Diploma Students Sports Association, which conducts various sports events all over Maharashtra every year in the months of January and February. These sports are recognized by MSBTE and thus winner and runner – up team’s students are benefited by grace marks.
Thus students are participating in various state level tournaments and performing well. This year students have brought never before success in the state level tournaments, especially to say, in the “Weight Lifting” Zonal
tournament, all the 16 trophies won by our college, which is almost unbreakable record made by our students. This is just to mention, as there so many records made by our college.
To achieve this, the institute has taking keen interest in sports by providing full-fledged facilities to the students such as Fully Developed International Level Cricket Ground, Three Lawn Tennis Courts, Basket Ball Field, Foot Ball Ground, Swimming Pool, Gymnasium Hall, Table Tennis Table, Chess and Carom Boards, and so many to list. With this a full time sports instructor is appointed to look after the sports events and in addition private instructors offer special Coaching.
In support of this, the Society organizes Inter-Campus Sports Tournaments every year in the month of December and January. A special Sports Tournaments every year in the month of December and January. A special Sports Club called Sinhgad Sports Club is formed to boost sports students. This club organizes “Sinhgad Karandak (Sports)” tournaments every year.
This year’s General Championship of Sinhgad Karandak (Sports) is won by our college.
2. Facilities for Extra Curriculum Activities :-
Sinhgad Karandak and Sinhgad Cultural Committees carry out regular cultural activities like: Dance, Drama, Fashion Show, Mr. And Miss Sinhgad, Dandiya, Street Play etc.
STE Society has an auditorium with 400 capacities and spacious open-air theater with the capacity 0f 2000.
Regular activities like Project Competition, Quiz Competition, Technical and Non-Technical Paper Presentation, Elocution Competition etc. are organized under ‘SPARKLE’ and ‘TECHNOBUZZ’
Students are motivated to participate in Social activities like arranging Blood Donation Camp, Tree Plantation Activity, Donating Clothes etc. to Orphanage and Old Age Homes
3.Soft skill development facilities: -
The staff members of STES train students for Self Grooming and Presentation Skills.
MSBTE has designed a subject ‘Development of Life Skills for the benefit of students. The faculty and guest speakers highlight upon the following topics to enhance the skills and overall personality of the students.
o Time Management o Stress Managemento Conflict, SWOT Analysiso Health Managemento Lateral Thinkingo Team Work
Learning resources utility center is equipped with audio visual aids like OHP, LCD, and Tape Recorder etc. Students here are trained by the teachers for:-
a) Reading, Listening, Writing and Communication Skills.b) Group Discussionc) Interview Techniquesd) Debates
e) Extempore Speechesf) Presentation Skills etc.
The institute arranges for eminent guest speakers from time to time to enhance the soft skills of students
Lecturers of Humanities Department are involved in soft skills training to various intra campus institutes.

Two Class Tests and Progressive Skill Test are conducted as per the norms of MSBTE, Mumbai.
