Easy Transition.Gain all the advantages of argentic film and digital sensors, without any of the drawbacks.

Visual Guide. The OLED screen located on the front guides the user, optimizing efficiency and proficiency. What’s more, a preview of the image is displayed after the scanning process is completed.

Hygiene.Protective covers and a motion sensor in the front insure no physical contact with the machine is required, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.

Share.PSPIX is natively designed for network integration. Located on its back, an RJ45 connector allows the PSPIX to be controlled independently by up to eight computers.

Complete.4 different sizes of plates can be automatically scanned, without additional user input. Those plates are included with the PSPIX.

Quick.Scan time takes an average of 5 seconds, making the PSPIX one of the quickest units available on the market.

Technology.

Composition.Imaging plates are composed of a layer of very small particles of photostimulable phosphor (PSP) that are uniformly coated onto a polyester support film.

Aging. The active, blue side of the imaging plates is sensitive to dust, scratches or groove created by bending. The imaging plates won’t age as a consequence of exposure. It is however advisable to change them every 2 years.

The imaging plates

The plate scanner

Once the active side of the plate has been exposed, it should be inserted into the scanner. After around 5 seconds, the plate is read and erased, ready for reuse.

Motion sensor

Storage.A specially designed box is included with the PSPIX in order to store the plates. It protects the plates and should be located in a lit room, away from direct exposure to sunlight.

Consumables.

Hygiene bags. These hygiene bags are completely waterproof. Different sizes correspond to each imaging plate size; 100 of each size is included with the PSPIX.

Protective covers. These covers come in different sizes, according to the imaging plate used, and allow:

Physical protection of the plate during its manipulation Protection of the Xray image once the plate has been exposed Limits the risks of cross-contamination of the plate and in turn of the PSPIX

Simplicity.

Screen. An OLED screen guides the user step by step, and thanks to its animations insures an efficient and safe use of the PSPIX. Moreover, the resulting Xray image is displayed after the scan process.

Sharing.

Network.A lot of attention has been given to the integration of PSPIX within the network. It can therefore easily be independently controlled by up to 8 computers, without requiring a dedicated machine.

Security.

Wireless Networks. When connecting to a wireless router, the main problem is the risks of a drop in the signal. PSPIX has been designed to work around this problem : it will keep the last image in memory until the connection can be re-established.

Please note that in the above example, the PSPIX is connected to a wireless router, not included.
