MAC® Version 1.0 Installation Directions

Minimum Requirements

Minimum OS X version: MAC OS X v10.6.3 Snow Leopard

Every new MAC sold since August 28th 2009 has MAC OS X Snow Leopard installed. Any MAC purchased after that date will be Sopro Ready.

INSTALLATION PROCESS Visit the ACTEON North America website and select the downloads page: www.us.acteongroup.com .

On the downloads page locate the MAC download link. You will be prompted for a user name and password. Please contact ACTEON Customer Service for login information . It is best to download this to the MAC where the install is taking place.

Once the .ISO file is downloaded, simply double-click on the icon. A virtual drive is created and will show on the desktop as “Sopro Imaging” as shown below. Click on the virtual drive to proceed.

The contents of the virtual drive will now appear in a new window. Click the Install SOPRO-Imaginging.pkg to begin the install.

Proceed with the install process by selecting all of the default choices. At the end of the routine you will be prompted for a restart.

The restart step MUST be followed to correctly install the software.

After the installation and the MAC restart select the Application choice in the OSx Dock. This can also be done with “FINDER” and browsing to the Applications folder.

To launch Sopro Imaging browse to the folder labeled Sopro. Click on the folder once to open it.

Select the SOPRO-Imaging Icon to launch the software.

The Software will now open and you will receive a message stating to read all documentation that has been delivered with the software. Select “Do Not Prompt Me For This Again”. Next you must create a Doctor. Please enter the Doctor’s title and name in the correct fields.

Now create a patient. Select new and enter the requested information in the correct fields. If you are creating a test patient only the Title, First Name, and Last name fields must be filled out.

The software is now installed and is ready to be activated. In order for SOPRO Imaging MAC to be used for more than 2 weeks it must be activated. DO NOT ACTIVATE THE SOFTWARE BEFORE SETTING THE DATA LOCATION. If you are using the software only on the MAC that you just installed the software on you do not have to set a data location. The default location may be used. If you plan on using the network to store the data and would like to share the information between multiple MACS please visit the following site for networking and Activation directions: www.satelecsupport.com\documentation\macs\networkmac.pdf . If you have decided that you will be only using the software on one MAC and not the network select the Sopro-Imaging menu in the software and click on Activation.

All fields marked with an asterisk must be filled in prior to activating the software. The license key is located on the back of the CD envelope. If you do not have a license key please contact ACTEON Customer Service at 800-289-6367. Multiple licenses are not required if a network is being used to store the data, activation will only be required once.

The software is now activated and ready to use.
