Dorm style suites have twin beds with either single or double occupancy, common living rooms and shared full kitchens. Both single and double rooms have private baths. There is no air-conditioning and no elevators.

This is a block reservation and you must occupy for two nights, with check-in on 07/28/2020 and check-out on 07/30/2020. PRICES LISTED ARE FOR A TWO-NIGHT STAY. A SINGLE-NIGHT STAY IS NOT AVAILABLE. Each person age 12 and older must pay for a bed. Round trip bus transportation to the SSSC is included.

ACCOMMODATION AT SONOMA STATE UNIVERSITY (SSU) 2020

Accommodation details 1. The reservation must be for the 2-night stay as marked on

the form. Single night stay is not available. There will be no refunds for cancellations once room is confirmed.

2. All rooms are non-smoking and have internet but no television or phone. No pets or other animals are permitted except certified service animals.

3. SSU is located at 1801 East Cotati Ave, Rohnert Park, CA 94928. Keep in mind that maps may sometimes be unreliable. Official SSU maps can be found at: www.sonoma.edu/housing/general-info/maps/

4. Beds – Children under age 12 may sleep with a parent or on a mattress on the floor, which must be provided by the family. Each person age 12 and older must pay for a bed. Additional guests are not permitted to be “camping out” in the rooms. The college requires a roster of all people staying in each suite for each night for security reasons. Please follow this rule as we want to abide by the college’s requirements and do the right thing.

5. Linens – One set of linens is provided for each bed in the room, for your stay. There is no daily housekeeping service, but if required, you may wash your own linens and clothes at the coin-operated laundry rooms located in the dorm area. Please keep in mind that summer weather in Petaluma can have chilly nights. We recommend that you bring an extra blanket or shawl.

Transportation to satsang Bus shuttles will be provided to take you to and from the college to the SSSC-Petaluma for satsang each day. The schedule for the buses will be contained in your welcome packet. This is a complimentary service and we encourage you to take the bus to save parking and avoid traffic congestion at the site. Please note you may not leave any personal items, large bags or cell phones on the bus while you attend satsang. On the last day of the program, those who have checked out and are taking an airport shuttle may bring their luggage to SSSC before coming to satsang.

Airport shuttle bus transportation to SSU 1. Guests arriving at San Francisco, Oakland, or Sonoma

County Airports are recommended to use the Sonoma County Airport Express, Inc. to the Rohnert Park DoubleTree Hotel bus stop. Please Note: Airport Express does NOT provide a return trip to the Sonoma County Airport from the DoubleTree Hotel. See schedule & fare info: airportexpressinc.com.

2. Complimentary transportation from the Rohnert Park DoubleTree airporter bus stop to SSU, as well as return upon departure will be provided if required.

3. On the final satsang day, an airport shuttle bus is offered from the SSSC to SFO or Oakland airport (not the Sonoma County Airport). If you would like to use this service, please include your payment in the form above.

Meals Please include your breakfast and dinner request in the form. 1. Breakfast – The pre-packed bag will contain a protein

meal bar, fruit, and water bottle. All items in the bag are non-perishable and will be handed out on the night before and/or the morning of each satsang day.

2. Lunch – A bag lunch will be available for purchase at the SSSC after satsang. (There is no lunch served at the college.)

3. Dinner – A simple catered Indian meal will be provided in the evening from 6 pm - 8 pm on Tuesday & Wednesday. It will include dal, rice, vegetables, roti and a sweet.

4. Cooking in rooms – Village Suites have full kitchen facilities with refrigerator, stove and microwave but do not have cooking pots or serving utensils of any kind. You are welcome to bring your own food and paper products to prepare meals in your suite.

Parking If you have requested a parking pass, you will receive it in your check-in package. We do not have the ability to add passes at the time of the event. Parking pass is required to be displayed in your vehicle at all times when parking on the campus. Parking pass will be valid for the entire stay.

SSSC check-in office The reception and check-in office will be located at the Barrel Room in Sauvignon Village (see SSU map online). It will be open for check-in at 12:00 pm, continuing into the evening for late arrivals. On satsang days, the office will be closed one hour before the satsang program and will open one hour afterward.

Check-out Before departure on, please check-out at the at the Barrel Room office by 12:30 pm.
