Introduction and background
The idea of an aluminium manufacturing company was brought to life in 2003 with Hennie van Heerden. He have a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing, combined with a drive to start a business and vision to make it one the best. Inso Aluminium Bloemfontein CC was opened in Bloemfontein in February 2003 – as part of the Inso Franchise group, with Hennie van Heerden as managing director.
In April 2007 the members of Inso Aluminium Bloemfontein CC decided to distantiate from the Inso Franchise group, and our name changed to Sonhe Aluminium.
The Company
Sonhe Aluminium focus since inception has been to expand controllably, without compromising integrity, quality, and/or personalised service.
Sonhe Aluminium views itself as being robust and dynamic with the aim of becoming a lead player in the South African aluminium market.

1.3 Keys to Success
All the current and completed projects were obtained from word-of-mouth referrals and minimal advertising has commenced. Working closely together with suppliers and keeping up to new developments and trends of the industry.
All our aluminium extrusions are sourced from Wispeco (Pty) Ltd,Extrusion World and Hulamin Building Systems which are SABS and AAAMSA (Association of Architectural Aluminium Manufacturers of South Africa) approved.
Anodized and powder coated aluminium extrusions carry a 15 year guarantee backed by the suppliers.
All our glass is supplied by the biggest and most reputable manufactures in Southern Africa.
Glazing is done and marked in accordance with SABS and SAGGA (South African Glass and Glazing Association) specifications. All schedules and production planning are compiled using Starfront (a computer programme) to obtain the correct AAAMSA and SAGGA specifications.
The machining and assembly of the product components are done in accordance with AAAMSA
Operation
Manuals under strict supervision of operational management. This ensures the delivery of products that are of the best quality in the industry.

Above projects is only some of our projects and clients we service on regular basis.Our project ranges from R1000 to in excess of R50m.Our very latest completed signature project,Radisson Blue in Lome,Togo was is excess of R50m and completed in 10 months.
This project consisted of two Façade faces totalling more than 10000 sq/m,line shops,pressure glazed curtain wall,Frameless showers and automated entrance doors.
