Welcome to the 2012 Somewon Collective Line.

Somewon is collection of Canadian artists, athletes and musicians that create clothing to reflect our unique lifestylesand attitudes and we are very proud showcase some of thebest new talent this country has offer.

Throughout the past year we have grown a lot and gatheredinspiration from new friends and talented new designers forthis year’s line. A few new pieces have been added not justto increase the size of our line but to create stylish pieces thatlook good, function with purpose and can help create a feelingof pride in wearing the clothing you choose.

Manhire, a former roommate during the formation days of Somewon, has since left Calgary to return to his Ottawa roots. For several years he was a strong proponent of the underground music scenein Calgary and continues his passion out East. Manhire leads the Ottawa based band the “White Wires” and has headed up his own record label, “Going GAGA Records”. His ‘Catwalk’ t-shirt design is a classic and one of our favorites.

Kipling has become a valued asset to theSomewon Family. Although new to the graphicdesign world, she dove in head first and started swimming laps. Formerly of the paint and sculptworld, she brings a great artisitic and capablemind to the production side. One of Somewon’sstaff designers, she creates much of the work you see for our print and online art. Kipling alsodoes freelance designs for the Kootenay area snow industry and well as gig posters for manyRevelstoke events,

Kasia is a Graphic Designer that likes to get her hands dirty. You can often find her covered in paint in her studio late into the night. Her two main loves in life are snowboarding and art, which lead her to follow her dream and turn the two into a career. Fast forward a few years and a few thousand in tuition, she madethe move from Whistler to Vancouver and is now making a name for herself as a designer within the snow and skate industry.Building a freelance design business has its challenges, but she takes refuge in “just doing it for the love” when it comes to designing for the Somewon Collective clothing line.
