  • IntroductionWyland’s is beautifully situated right in the heart of 1066 Country, just 2 miles from the historic market town of Battle.

With ten lakes on site to choose from, we cater for all anglers from the novice to the specimen hunters.

We have fantastic facilities onsite including snack bar and tackle shop, plus friendly expert advice.

1: HOUSE LAKE Holds a large head of carp of all sizes up to mid-twenties. Silver fish are also in abundance in this lake, so good sport can be had by the pleasure angler and specialist alike.

4: FIELD LAKE A small pretty lake absolutely heaving with fish. It’s the ideal lake for introducing new anglers to the sport or for a great day out using light tackle.

5: MIDDLE LAKEProlific carp and silvers lake. Fantastic surface

fishing and a great winter match venue.

6: KELL LAKEThis lake holds the largest number of

specimen carp on the complex. There are

around 50 carp, a good proportion of these are

more than 30lb with the remaining forming a very healthy head of twenties.

This beautiful estate style lake is a great choice for

    any ambitious angler.

    2: ROSIE’S LAKE

    3: THE SNAKE

This lake is very picturesque and peaceful. It’s known for its prolific carp fishing with specimens up to 20lb along with a variety of silver fish and crucian carp.

This is a purpose-built match venue with a huge head of hard fighting carp.

8: OLD SPECIMEN LAKE Lovely old mature lake containing a variety of

species, the majority being carp. It’s the perfect lake to bag numerous fish in one session from 7

to 17lb, with the odd larger one!

9: NEW SPECIMEN LAKE This lake is by far the most popular lake on the

complex. It holds a fine head of carp the majority in double figures the largest being over 30lb. This lake

also holds a good head of specimen perch.

10: THE CANALThis newly developed lake once formed part of the Snake Lake,

but now has its own identity as The Canal. Recently stocked with 250 crucian carp and tench along with a multitude of other

species. This lake offers traditional float fishing.

7: MAISIE’S LAKE This attractive reed

lined lake is home to some rod bending catfish up to 60lb.

It’s the only lake on the complex that

requires advanced booking, due to limited swims.

It has also produced some beautiful carp

29lb + which are still growing well.
