and non#eral reasoning in a short duration of time. So here the time is less and the candidate has to

sol#e more numer of questions correctly. !i%e this putting the candidate under pressure to sol#e the

intelligence questions is called as Officer Intelligence Rating.

Importance of Intelligence Test (IT) :-

The mar%s otained the IT is important since$ after getting recommended and clearing the medicals

the o#erall merit or the national le#el is ased on this mar%s only.

Types of Questions ase! in IT :-

There are t"o types of pattern are conducted$ to measure the candidate innate aility$ They are

    "nalogy an! #lassification:-

In this part$ a "ord and its related "ord is gi#en$ then another "ord "ith four options are gi#en. Such

    #o!ing - Deco!ing :-

In this part$ certain "ord is coded to some numer3alphaet in re#ersal manner$ then "e ha#e to

    7um@er Series:-

In this a series of numer is gi#en and "e ha#e to find out the ne=t numer. The series gi#en may e

    Bloo! elations:-

The lood relation questions are easy one. If "e are thorough "ith the relation then it is easy to sol#e.
