OCTOBER 2011 VOL. ONE ISSUE #1 Welcome to our very first newsletter. I will start off telling you about a very powerful system I was recently initiated into, called the Munay Ki. Since receiving the rites I can definitely feel the energy shift and I am feeling more positive in general. I am only in week 3 of the 14 week cleansing phase, however, so it is still early days. What the 14 weeks encompass is a lot of introspection and getting rid of old patterning, emotions, fears and beliefs that no longer serve you or are holding you back from reaching your full potential. I think this is something everyone can benefit from. Teacher level training is now available in South Africa to those wanting to teach the Munay Ki and pass the Rites on to others, and for those who want to experience truly extraordinary shifts in consciousness. The Inka prophecies speak of a new human appearing on the Earth one who lives free of fear and resides in their transcendent nature. In 2006 the Q‟ero shamans of the Andes felt it was time for these 9 Munay Ki Rites to be transmitted to as many people as possible and that once all 9 Rites have been received, the recipients are requested to pass them on to others. According to the prophecy, we will then witness the taripaypacha: the dawning of a new golden age - where humans live in peace and harmony with each other and all creation. The Munay-Ki are the 9 great rites of initiation of the medicine way. The Munay-Ki are the Rites of the Shaman‟s Path of the Q‟ero nation, the descendents of the Inka, the indigenous people of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru. Traditionally, one must spend many years in sacred study before and between receiving these Initiatory Rites. The Elders believe that we are at a critical juncture in human history and that these Rites need to be transmitted to as many people as possible. Welcome to our very first newsletter.

The Inka prophecies speak of a new human appearing on the Earth – one who lives free of fear and resides in their transcendent nature.

The Munay-Ki are the 9 gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of homo luminous. These Rites are available for all and anyone can benefit from these healing and transmissions.

HARMONY RITE: Here you receive seven archetypes into your chakras. In the first chakra, you receive the archetype of serpent; jaguar goes into the second; hummingbird into the third; and eagle into the fourth. Then, three “archangels” go into your upper three chakras.

SEER RITE: This rite installs filaments of light extending from your visual cortex in the back of your head to your third eye and heart chakras. This practice awakens your ability to perceive the invisible world. Many of our students at the Healing the Light Body School find that a few months after receiving the Seer rites, they‟re able to perceive the world of energy around them.

WISDOM KEEPER RITE: The legends say that the ancient wisdom resides in the high mountains. The ice-covered peaks were revered as places of power, just as other mountains around the world, from Mt. Sinai to Mt. Fuji to Mt. Olympus, have been honored as places where humans meet the divine. This rite helps you to step outside of time and taste infinity.

EARTH KEEPER'S RITE: This rite connects you to a lineage of archangels that are guardians of our galaxy. They‟re reputed to have human form and be as tall as trees. The Earth keepers, who are stewards of all life on the Earth, come under the direct protection of these archangels and can summon their power when they need to in order to bring healing and balance to any situation.

STARKEEPER'S RITE: This rite anchors you safely to the time after the great change that is said will occur on or around the year 2012. According to lore, when you receive this rite, your physical body begins to evolve into that of Homo luminous. The aging process is slowed down, and you become resistant to diseases you were once vulnerable to.

CREATOR RITE: When you receive this initiation, you awaken the God-light within you and acquire stewardship for all of creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies in the universe. This rite has never been available before on the planet. Although there were individuals who attained this level of initiation, and awakened their Christ or Buddha consciousness, it was never possible to transmit these from one person to another, until today. So while Spirit-to-human transmission happened on occasion, human-to-human transmission was impossible until now. The Creator rite was brought forth and gifted to us by Inka elders in the Andes during the summer of 2006.

From January 2012 I will be running teacher's level training and also transmitting the rites for those who are interested. See my website for full details and

updates.

The Rites are given through an attunement healing process, during which the recipient will receive the healing and also the transmission. These Rites are sacred and powerful and your life changes after receiving it. Rites take months to years to integrate and work with you during your own spiritual development.

RITES TAUGHT DURING TEACHER'S LEVEL:

THE HEALER RITE: This first rite connects you to a lineage of earth keepers form the past that come and assist you in your personal healing. These luminous beings work on us during our meditation and sleep time to heal the wounds from the past and of your ancestors. This Rite is connected to a lineage of luminous beings from the past, who come to assist in your personal transformation on your path of evolution.

BANDS OF POWER RITE: In the Bands of Rite, 5 luminous belts are woven into the Luminous energy field. They act as filters, breaking down any negative energy that comes toward the initiate into one of the 5 elements. These energies then feed the auric field instead of making you sick. The bands of Power are always „on‟, and negative energies bounce right off them. In a world filled with fear, the bands provide essential protection.

DAY KEEPER’S RITE: The Day Keepers were the matters of the ancient stone altars found in sacred places throughout the world, from Stonehenge to Machu Picchu. The Daykeepers are able to call on the power of these ancient altars to heal and bring balance to the world. This rite is an energetic transmission that connects you to a linage of Laikas from the past.

The Law of Attraction (hereafter referred to as LoA for brevity) is one of the most popular topics in personal development, and there is no end in sight to the growing popularity of what its proponents call an unfailing Universal Law. If LoA exists, then like gravity, ignoring it would be foolish and counterproductive if leading an abundant, prosperous life is your goal.

While this article cannot fully explain LoA in this short space, it will provide you powerful reasons why you should investigate LoA further, and learn to put it into practice in your life. After three years of studying, applying, and teaching the LoA, I've concluded that LoA is an actual law that forms the basis of nearly every spiritual and scientific principle of our universe.

Here are three major shifts that you can experience which will greatly assist you in feeling empowered, creative, focused, accomplished, and provide an overall sense of wellbeing, prosperity, peace, and abundance.

First, a thorough understanding of the LoA gives you the imperative, the willingness, the motivation, and the understanding to put your own happiness first - to nurture it and make it real, palpable, and appreciated. We all want to be happy, to feel good. In fact, every one of the innumerable decisions we make throughout our lives is based on the belief that whatever we actually choose will make us feel better than the alternatives. Happiness is free, it costs nothing, and it feels great, reasons enough for anyone and everyone to make a conscious decision to be happy, regardless of circumstances, yet few of us do it; happiness itself remains elusive to billions of people.

The LoA reveals that the vibration or energy of happiness is a CAUSE, not an effect, and that expressing the energy of happiness is a prerequisite to prosperity and abundance, and not the other way around as most people assume. You cannot wait until you are rich, thin, loved, and pampered to allow yourself to feel happiness. 'Happiness energy' or joyful expression is actually creative energy and its expression is the first step in the creative process (and therefore must come BEFORE you experience outward signs or manifestations of prosperity). Once you understand this, you have a fantastic reason to make happiness a personal priority. It's not selfishness; it's your gift to the world, because without happiness, you really have little of true value to offer anyone.

LoA gives you the 'excuse' or imperative to put your happiness first and really cultivate it, and never again allow anyone to tempt you into feeling inappropriate for feeling wonderful. Happiness and prosperity are not things you need to apologize for.

The second major reason is that an understanding of LoA removes doubt and confusion about why things happen in your life, and therefore restores your belief in fairness and integrity in all things.

Most people raised in traditional religions have internal conflicts between their beliefs in a benevolent, all powerful, all knowing God, and the outward appearance of that same God letting horrible things happen to good people, with seemingly no justifiable explanation for the paradox. How do we explain a benevolent God allowing (or causing) natural disasters create, or allowing the horrors and atrocities that humans perpetrate on one another?

LoA provides a well reasoned and solid explanation of why things manifest in both our personal experience, and collectively for mankind, without requiring the need for a Supreme Being to make an infinite number of daily decisions about what will and won't happen to us. Yet it does not negate the belief in a Supreme Being. Instead, it provides a neat, simple, logical, consistent ideology that allows for a supreme being to exist, but it removes the seemingly 'arbitrary' decisions about what that being will and won't allow or cause to happen to use on a day to day basis.

The energy that we emanate powerfully draws everything that comes into our experience was drawn to us by us (though usually with conscious awareness of having done so). Once we understand that 'thoughts are things' of great significance and power, and understand that LoA itself is the 'manager' of every particle of energy in the universe, bringing together (or keeping apart), people, events, and institutions based on the fundamental principle that 'like energy attracts like energy', then we can stop scratching our heads about why bad things happen to good people, and focus on managing our energy, vibration, or signal that we radiate. This is elegantly simple, practical, and once understood, works to our great advantage.

MAJOR WAYS THE LAW OF ATTRACTION CAN IMPROVE YOUR LIFE - By Ryan A Harris

Page 4: SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF THE 9 MUNAY KI RITES 2011 Newsletter.pdf · recently initiated into, called the Munay Ki. Since receiving the rites I can definitely feel the energy shift

LoA creates a fair, rational, consistent basis for all events of your life, and removes the illusion of being able to blame anyone else for events that happen to us. The upside of not being able to lay blame at someone else's feet is that we also get to assume FULL control over our lives, and have the means by which to express this control. The exploration and acceptance of LoA is proportional to the degree to which people are willing to shoulder responsibility for their lives and stop blaming others (or supreme beings).

The third major benefit of a solid understanding of LoA is that it provides a better, gentler way to effect change in the world by expressing the energy of allowance, love, and fanning those positive flames of creative energy to bring about change in you and the world.

With a clear, guilt-free, shame-free conscience you can stop struggling or fighting against (resisting) any circumstance, situation, person, law, or event that is bothersome, thus reducing your stress and opening the floodgates of both mental and physical wellbeing.

Though it does not serve us, from a young age we are conditioned to fight against, push back, resist, or repel unwanted events, people, or things, and sometime we actually succeed in it, temporarily. But we pay a heavy personal price for doing so. LoA reveals that anything that you resist is actually leaving an energy imprint on you. When you resist, you are aligning your energy with that which you resist, becoming a vibrational match to it, and radiating similar energy, you unknowingly feed energy into the unwanted, making it more powerful. Struggle against anything is the emission of the vibration of 'struggle' and LoA demands (without judgment) that more struggle is what you will experience.

LoA teaches the cultivation of the energy of 'allow' - which is the energy of healing, peace, and love. Dropping resistance is incredibly liberating and energizing. Surrender opens the channel to wellbeing, allowing in healing energy that you had been keeping at bay, which can lead to remarkable changes and breakthroughs.

So these are three extremely powerful ways that a personal, full understanding of LoA can positively impact your life, and improve the world as a result. Though these ideas may at first glance fly in the face of some ideas you have cherished since you were old enough to recognize your reflection in a mirror, I hope that the potential benefits encourage you to investigate the Law of Attraction to help you become the fully conscious, magnificent, powerful creator that you came here to be.

CRYSTAL OF THE MONTH Carnelian aids in understanding the inner self and strengthens concentration. It helps one to overcome the fear of public speaking, increases sense of self worth and is a fast-acting stone to succeed in one's career. Carnelian assists in stimulating creativity. It has a clearing effect, dispelling negative energies and replacing them with positive ones. This can make it easier to find direction, and its grounding effects can make it easier for you to feel in control of your life. This makes Carnelian a good stone for people who feel like they are going nowhere. Carnelian applied physically, can promote balanced digestion. For lower abdominal pain, especially in woman and in pregnancy, this stone placed on the pubic bone each day for twenty minutes will reduce the pain. Carnelian encourages the formation of new blood cells. Physically, Carnelian has been used to encourage healing of open sores, rheumatism, kidney stones and other kidney problems. This stone will help cleanse and purify the blood, thus giving more physical energy.

Carnelian was worn on the hand in ancient Egypt to still anger, as well as jealousy, envy and hatred. It is still used to promote peace and harmony and also to dispel depression.

Carnelian must be cleansed once a month under warm running water and recharged for quite a long period in the sun. Wear it so that it is in direct contact with the skin. Carnelian water is created by leaving the stone in a vessel of water overnight.

OCTOBER 2011 VOL. ONE ISSUE #1

I hope you have found everything in this newsletter useful so far. My intention of this newsletter is to help people find a part of what they are searching for. The November newsletter will be coming out earlier next month (in the second week of November), due to the all important date of 11.11.11 being almost upon us, at which date there will be more major energy shifts happening. What can you do to prepare for the energy shifts or enhance your personal shifting? I will be including one or two meditations with the next newsletter, which will align you more with the earth's energies and also a DNA activation meditation. What is DNA activation, you ask? As some of you may be aware of, the human body contains a total of 12 strands of DNA, only 2 of which are active. This has apparently been scientifically proven, although I have seen it mentioned elsewhere that our bodies actually contain 22 strands of DNA. As I cannot personally verify either theory, I will follow what seems logical and right to me. What makes sense to me, and what came to me during a meditation, is that the remaining strands of DNA (however many there may be) are in the spiritual realm, meaning that they are in various layers of our aura. Once activated, we will be able to reach higher levels of consciousness with greater ease and we will really be able to connect and see the greater picture of "we are one". This is one of the great reasons that I feel so strongly about the Munay Ki. Self healing is VERY necessary for personal growth, however, many people do not take the time or effort to do this for themselves. The result being, of course, is that they stagnate and become depressed, restless, and generally not very happy. We need to realize that anything worth doing, is worth doing well, and that anything worth having requires action to get it. Don't you think you are worth it? In order for your life to change, you need to change something in yourself. There's no reason to hold on to your limiting beliefs and other things that are holding you back from living your life in happiness and fulfillment. I'm not just talking about internal things here, but also external. Are you in a job that you hate, or in a relationship that makes you more unhappy than happy, or even living somewhere you really don't want to be? Well, NOW is the time to make a change. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Make it count!! Start with small steps if needs be, just make sure that you are moving in the right direction and you will at least get there.

Something I want to add briefly, before I end off, is that the Mexican Day of the Dead is being celebrated soon, on 1 and 2 November (the 2 days after Halloween).

Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is a Mexican holiday pertaining to death, remembrance and love. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends, family members and even pets who have died. The celebration takes place on 1 and 2 November, in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints' Day (1 November) and All Souls' Day (2 November). Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honouring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favourite foods and beverages (even beer) of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. These altars are not places of worship. They serve the same purpose as a scrapbook or a photo album. Pictures of the departed,

along with favourite loved objects and other mementos are placed on the altar. The legacy of past civilizations is graphically manifested on this occasion through the belief that death is a transition from one life to another in different levels where communication exists between the living and the dead. This communication takes place once a year throughout Mexico. The Day of the Dead in Mexico is not a mournful commemoration but a happy and colourful celebration where death takes a lively, friendly expression. On 1 November, the souls of the children are honoured with special designs in the altars, using white coloured flowers and candles. On 2 November, the souls of the adults are remembered with a variety of rituals, according to the different states of the Mexican republic.

This is an ancestral tradition to create a special time and space to remember and honour the loved ones by offering them an ofrenda - the fragrance of the flowers, the light of the candles, the aroma of special foods and the solemnity of prayers. It is also a time to joke and make fun of death through "calaveras" - poetry allusive to a particular person, generally politicians; sugar, chocolate and amaranth skulls which are given to one another with their friend‟s name so "they can eat their own death" and special crafts relating to different aspects of the living, with skeletons representing daily activities.

Whichever way it is celebrated, Day of the Dead is a time of reflection about the meaning of life and the mission that one needs to fulfil. Death in many situations imparts a feeling of pain and loss, particularly for those who do not know the purpose of their path on this earthly plane. For others, death is transcendence, transformation and resurrection. During the celebration of Day of the Dead all those feelings and beliefs come together in a season that brings to life the memory of the loved ones. Day of the Dead is an especially good time to communicate with your departed loves ones, whether they be human or animal. It is a time when the two worlds (of the living and the dead) come together and make communication between the two easier and possible.

Since travelling to Mexico in 2004 and experiencing the truly inspirational and moving Dia de los Muertos, we take time out every year to honour those we know who have moved on to the next life and celebrate their lives as we remember them (including our lost companions – pets). This yearly ritual made a profound impact on me as my partner (Ant) and I were in Mexico City during the celebration and added our own offerings on the altar, as gifts for the beings that were departed from our current lives. During the night, I said aloud to a certain departed soul whom I had placed an offering on the altar for "show me a sign that you are here". Next thing I know, the lights in our room went out. There was only Ant and I in the room at the time, with the door closed, so nobody else could have switched the light switch from on to off. Yes, the light switch had actually been pushed from the on position to the off position. That definitely made a believer out of me, hence us paying our respects every year from then on.

El Dia de los Muertos is not the Mexican version of Halloween. Mexicans have celebrated the Day of the Dead since the year 1800 B.C.

It is not scary or morbid. There are no pictures or images of dead people, ghosts, witches, or the devil.

The Day of the Dead is not a cult. It is a Catholic ritual intermixed with Mayan culture.

It doesn‟t honour death, but our dead relatives. It welcomes the opportunity to reflect upon our lives, our ancestors and the meaning and purpose of our own existence.

Altars or ofrendas are not for worshipping, but for offering our love and remembering our departed family members and friends.

It is not a sad ritual. It’s a day of happiness because we will be remembering our loved ones.

The Day of the Dead is about Love not Fear.

It is not a “strange” ritual. It is very similar to going to a grave and leaving flowers or stuffed animals, or lighting a candle to remember the deceased.

It is not a careless or fearless confrontation of death. It is a moment to reflect upon one‟s life and the cycle of life and death.
