Some animals have recently escaped from Chessington and headed straight for Ripley Rocks. They’ve formed a band but haven’t come up with a name yet! They hope, one day, to be bigger than The Eagles and The Gorillaz, can you find all the members in this programme and maybe come up with a name for them?

TriTone are a 3 piece rock pop covers band playing quality songs from the last 20 years.

TriTone are Suki M: Vocals, Steve Foster: Guitar, Bass, Vocals and Rob Myers: Drums.

TriTone regularly play many of the local music venues and festivals with an exceptional singer and a full

We are Minty Hindu, an Alternative Rock band of young musicians from Cornwall, England who want only to make and play great music!

We met at college in 2017 when our lead singer, lead guitarist and drummer were put into the same class and decided to form a band, roping our bassist and rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist into the equation to form Minty Hindu as its known today. We all shared a similar love of Rock music and it wasn’t long before we had compiled a set with a handful of original songs and started gigging.

Ripley Bowls Club

The Bowls Club has been fully operational for some 3 years now. From a meagre 19 members we have grown to 70 strong and looking forward to many years of indoor and outdoor bowls.

We have many leagues running as well as friendlies, both indoor and outdoor, to suit the serious and the occasional bowler who enjoy the game and meeting like minded people. Our subscriptions are probably the lowest in Surrey which we are able to maintain as the Club is run by a team of conscientious and hard working members.We have roll-ups (practices) on a regular basis and anyone who fancies trying something new would be welcomed by our friendly bunch.The Club is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from 2pm and Thursday and Friday evening from 7pm and also Friday mornings from 10am. We also play outside at weekends when we have a game arranged which would be good time to sit in the sun and watch a game of bowls in progress and possibly a drink from the bar.For further information you can contact Keith Best on 07973 898993 or pop into the club in Rose Lane, near the allotments anytime and receive a warm welcome.We would like to wish the organisers of Ripley Rocks all the success they deserve and let us hope the weather is kind to us this year.

Drawn together by their love of The Jam, Ghosts deliver their thunderous versions of the songs of one of Britain’s greatest bands!

Griff Buckler – “Loved the Jam, from an early age, Their drums pounded like a Kango Hammer gone mad and I thought – I could do that.”

Featuring 60s pop and R&B, 70s art rock, 80s post punk and new wave through to a smattering of 90s Britpop, Version Excursion’s shows bring an infectious combination of high energy, good chemistry, stage craft and a sense of humour while delivering a refined selection of hits from some of UK’s best acts from the last 50 years.

A five piece comprising of vocals, guitars, bass, keys and drums, Version Excursion have existed since 2013, and the members of the band have

been performing together in various musical combinations since the early 90s.
