A problem, which can be caused for
different reasons, and, if solvable, can
usually be solved in a number of
different ways, is defined in a number
of different ways. This is determined by
the context in which a said problem or
problems is defined. When discussed, a
problem can be argued in multipleways. Generally speaking, there are two
positions to take, the polemic or the
defensive. An example of this is the
mother who has a problem with how
her daughter is going out, dressed in a
particular fashion. She may tell her
daughter, there is no way she is leaving
the house looking like that. In this
example, the mother would be on the
polemic side, and the daughter, who
presumably would like to go out
dressed however she pleases, would be
on the defensive side.
The Steps in Problem-SolvingIn order to correctly solve a problem, it is important to follow a
series of steps. Many researchers refer to this as the problem-
solving cycle, which includes developing strategies and organizing
knowledge. While this cycle is portrayed sequentially, people rarely
follow a rigid series of steps to find a solution. Instead, we often skipsteps or even go back through steps multiple times until the desired
solution is reached.

Reinforcement of competences
It is wanted to develop the following competences adapted by CEFR and MEN of Colombia
Reading is fun-way to knowledge hunt. We read or see innumerable quotes and proverbs on reading. How far isit true? It is true indeed- reading brings wisdom. Through reading, we learn a lot and it is the most prominentlanguage skill.
Writing is a gem to pick. A person with good writing skills is always victorious at expressing oneself. The writingskill is the hard copy of your intellectual level or the level of your expression.
Listening is yet another necessitate in language. The more efficient a listener you are the more successful andsatisfied you will be. In the words of Janis we find that Listeningis not merely hearing: it is a state of receptivitythat permits understanding of what is heard and grants the listener full partnership in the communication process.
Speaking is all special. This skill is as important as the others. When you have words read, ideas written andthoughts heard, all you need is to express- your speaking skill. What you speak will determine the expressivenessin you.
