SMART AUTHOR TOOLS AND CONTENT LIBRARY

ADAPTIVE LEARNING AND MOBILE DELIVERY

Use Smart Author to accelerate the development of adaptive courses. Start from scratch, or from existing content imported into the application, or by customizing content from one of the more than 25 pre-developed courses.

The Adaptive Delivery Environment, where students engage with courseware created in Smart Author, is accessible and built on a mobile-friendly, responsive design template.

THE INFERENCE ENGINE LEARNING MEASUREMENT AND DATA ANALYSIS

The Inference Engine captures and analyzes student activity data, generating a personal learning estimate for each competency, learning objective, and skill in the course.

Learning Data—or measures of learning produced by the inference engine—power actionable teaching insights for faculty on The Learning Dashboard, adaptive content delivery for students, and tools for continual course improvement.

Acrobatiq’s Smart Author is the first in a new generation of enterprise-level “smart” authoring solutions for online courses that blends easy-to-use content creation tools with best practices in data-driven instructional design.

Is designed for scale, with a platform capable of serving small institutions with just a few thousand students to the largest universities and multi-campus systems.

Uses pre-built page layout templates, an intuitive WYSIWYG interface, and more than 24 different activity types, including support for math notation. Accelerate development and continuous improvement of rich, interactive and adaptive learning experiences—delivered online, and in mobile-ready format.

Includes simple page creation and visual authoring tools to create robust, content pages, formative/summative assessments, each with text, images, video, multimedia, adaptive elements and more.

Enables content from multiple sources, including proprietary, OER, or self-generated sources—or, users can start with Acrobatiq’s content library of Smart Courseware.

Is adaptable. Course designers can create and add new outcomes easily to the baseline Skill Graph, including skills, learning objectives, or competencies.

Enables extensions and customization through a flexible set of APIs while supporting common standards like LTI. APIs enable institutions to integrate the platform with LMSs and CMSs, incorporate learning support tools, customize and brand the user interface, and exchange data with other systems.

Includes robust version control tools. Easily track changes, comments, updates and revisions.

Converging Learning Science-Based Design and DataSupport Learning, Decrease Costs and Expand AccessThe combination of learning science-based design and data enables Acrobatiq to help your college or university improve student learning outcomes, while decreasing costs and expanding access to high-quality online courses.
