Facilitating Automation of a New Plant for a Key German Customer Working in the Waste Disposal IndustryThe challenge: The customer was looking for a solution that would speed up installation times and minimize the number of components to be managed.

The solution: Eaton provided a preassembled and prewired control unit, freeing up the customer's resources and allowing them to focus on setting up the new facility.

The result: Providing a preassembled, prewired control unit simplified the ordering process by reducing the number of items and minimizing the installation time.

Streamlining the Materials Supply Process for a large Italian Machinery ManufacturerThe challenge: The customer wanted to reduce the time it takes to store and move goods in the warehouse by integrating them into the company's Kanban process.

The solution: Eaton packed the products grouped in similar items inside specific boxes to make them easier to identify. The boxes—chosen specifically by the customer—bear a customized label with all the information needed for storage.

The result: Sorting times were reduced by 50% and errors are down 95%.

Providing Components in Kits Significantly Speeds Up Machine Tool PreparationThe challenge: A manufacturer of machinery in France required the reduction and streamlining of the movement of goods from the warehouse to the assembly area.

The solution: Eaton created kits containing all of the components needed for the assembly of each machine.

The result: Instead of multiple part numbers to be ordered, the customer now orders the kits, which can be picked up from the warehouse easily, simplifying the moving process.
