Uploading Complete IoT Solutions and Intel® IoT Market Ready Solutions
• Complete IoT Solutions are “end to end IoT solutions” that are truly ready for market deployments.
o When posting these solutions, select “Complete IoT Solutions” as the solution category.
• Intel® IoT Market Ready Solutions are Complete IoT solutions that also satisfy Intel’s review process
considering solution readiness elements, including availability for purchase, published marketing
collateral, commercial market deployment, and a documented support model. They were submitted
for Intel review and are available through partners within the IoT ecosystem. See link for additional
information https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/internet-of-things/market-ready-
solutions/overview.html.
o When posting these approved solutions, select “Intel® IoT Market Ready Solutions”
characteristic.
To upload either Complete IoT Solutions or Intel® IoT Market Ready Solutions to the Solutions Directory,
create one of the new entry types below:
• Solutions: Most common template for products, services, and systems entry and can qualify as
Complete IoT Solutions or Intel® IoT Market Ready Solutions.
• Formulas: A recipe for adding individual components and services even from more than one company
to build a full system or an end-to-end solution and can only qualify as Complete IoT Solutions.
Adding Solutions
In the left hand navigation of the Members Resource Center, click “Add a Solution.” Five key entry tabs
Solution Information, Solution Details, Categories, Characteristics, and Intel Review are available for
categorizing your company’s solution. Required fields are marked with a red star (*) which you must fill out
before being able to move on to the next tab.
1. In the “Solution Information” tab, select
the appropriate language from the drop
down menu.
NOTE: If you submit the solution title in
English – after it is approved – it will be
translated into simplified Chinese and
Japanese. If it is not submitted in English, it
will be translated into English before it is
reviewed.
2. Type in the unique title for your product. For best results, include key information about the product,
such as form factor, in the product name.
3. Select Content Type(s), which will drive the relevancy of Categories in the next step.
a. Client: Select this content type if you are selling the Solution to customers outside of
communications, embedded or IoT market segments. The customer could be a business or a
consumer and the Solution is a product or service for the broad market. For example, if you
are selling a notebook or an all-in-one to a school, please select this Content Type.
b. Server: Select this content type if you are selling the Solution to customers outside of
communications, embedded or IoT market segments. The customer would usually be a
business and the Solution is a server or service for servers for the broad market. For example,
if you are selling a generic server to a bank, please select this Content Type.
c. Embedded IoT: Select this Content Type if you are an Alliance member and this Solution is
applicable to communications, embedded or IoT market segments. This is the most common
Content Type.
4. Choose your View Option. If you want to restrict your listing to be viewed by Intel only and not be
visible to the public, select the ‘Intel Only Content.’
5. In the “Solutions Details” tab, add up to
4 product images. At least one image
required for each product listing and
must be png, gif, jpg, or jpeg files that are
less than 2MB. Click ‘Choose File’ to
upload the required image of your
solution.
6. Add a detailed description of the
product by typing it into the Description
area, or paste text from a Microsoft Word
document.
7. Provide a URL to the product web page on your company’s website.
NOTE: Make sure to link directly to the page which describes this item, not to your homepage. Also, use
only one entry in the Solutions Directory per web page.
8. Additional product information listed
below is recommended but not required:
a. Datasheet
b. Product Brief: Title; URL
c. Additional Resources: Title; URL
d. Price: Price per Unit; Price per
100 Units; Price per 1000 Units
e. Order Unit URL.
NOTE: If available, enter the URL for
customers to order your solution online. This link may be to your company’s website or a third-
party website, like a distributor.
9. In the “Categories” tab, select one key
category for your product. Content
Types and Categories will drive the
relevancy of Characteristics in the next
step. If your solution is a Complete IoT
Solution, select the ‘Complete IoT
Solutions’ option. For storage and
services categories, select as many
subcategories as apply. Use the
expandable menus and submenus to
navigate through the menu hierarchy.
NOTE: For example, a key category for your product could be either a mini-ITX board or an industrial
computer. It can be one or the other, but not both.
10. In the “Characteristics” tab, select all of
the product characteristics that apply to
your product. If your solution has been
pre-approved as an Intel® IoT Market
Ready Solution, select the ‘Intel® IoT
Market Ready Solutions’ checkbox.
Required characteristic groups include:
geographic locations in which the
product or service is available and the
market segments. Click the characteristic
group titles on the page to expand
selections or use ‘Expand All’, ‘Collapse
All’, and ‘Reset’ shortcut buttons.
11. When your submission is complete, click
‘Save’ to submit your solution for review
and approval.
NOTE: Your submission must be reviewed
and approved by Intel before it is posted to
Intel.com and could take up to 5 business
days.
Adding Formulas
In the left hand navigation of the Members Resource Center, click “Add a Formula.” Three key entry tabs
Formula Information, Formula Details, and Categories are available for categorizing your company’s formula.
Required fields are marked with a red star (*) which you must fill out before being able to move on to the
next tab.
1. In the “Formula Information” tab, select
the language for your Formula in the
drop down menu.
2. Type in the unique title for your Formula.
3. Add each component that is included in
your formula:

Categories by clicking ‘Add
another component option.’

component type, click ‘Add
another item’ to include one or
additional component options
within that type.

product image.

product by typing it into the Description
area, or paste text from a Microsoft Word
document.
7. If appropriate, in the Systems Integrator
area, enter a system integrator to be
listed for support of this formula. Click
‘Add another item’ to add additional
companies.
8. If a Bill of Materials is available for your
formula, add the document using the
‘Choose File’ button then click ‘Upload’.
9. Add Geographic Locations where this
formula is available.
10. Add relevant Market Segments
11. If your solution has been pre-approved
as an Intel® IoT Market Ready Solution,
select the ‘Intel® IoT Market Ready
Solutions’ checkbox.
12. When selecting Market Segments,
include all segments and sub-categories
that apply to your formula.
13. If there are additional documents or
resources for the formula, under
Formula Resources, add a title and a URL
link to the resource online. To add more
than one resource, click ‘Add another
item’.
14. In the “Categories” tab, select one key
category for your formula. If your solution is a Complete IoT Solution, select the ‘Complete IoT
Solutions’ button.
NOTE: For storage and services categories,
select as many subcategories as apply.
12. When your submission is complete, click
‘Save’ to submit your solution for review
and approval. To review a solution listing
prior to submission, click ‘Preview’. This
will allow you to review and edit your
listing if desired before submitting for
inclusion in the Solutions Directory
however your Solution will not be saved in Preview mode.
NOTE: Your submission must be reviewed and approved by Intel before it is posted to Intel.com and
could take up to 5 business days.
