Master data synchronizationMaster data synchronization supports the business scenario of receiving a smart meter and creation of master data in an SAP software system. This means the device is delivered by a meter supplier and required master data is created in an SAP solution.
Device installationDevice installation covers the required steps of installing a smart meter by the device administrator, including the assignment of a utilities measurement task, indicating what type of measurements need to be taken using this device.
Meter readingThis business process of meter reading supports the capture of device data as defined by utilities measurement tasks. Capturing meter readings can be based on fixed intervals, such as once a month, or on-demand as needed by customer service centers.
