In the ocean carrier booking process, a shipper orders an intermodal transportation service through a freight forwarder.
This process deals with the outbound scenario, where a sales flow managed by the shipper generates the need for a door to door transportation service. The service is requested via a freight forwarder and is configured as a booking process without an early capacity reservation phase.
