Este manual es para aquellos que quieran llevar a cabo el proceso de la Solicitud de certificado digital luego de haber completado el proceso de registro y habérsele concedido el acceso a nuestra página web.

This manual is intended for those who want to submit a Digital Certificate Request after having completed the registry process and access to our web page has been granted.

Las ilustraciones en el manual fueron generadas utilizando Windows 7 y 10 e Internet Explorer 9 and 11. De utilizar una versión distinta de navegador o sistema operativo, las imágenes pudieran variar.

The images on this manual have been generated using Windows 7 and 10 and Internet Explorer 9 and 11. The screens may vary if you are using a different browser or operating system versions.

Los certificados digitales son compatibles con los siguientes sistemas operativos: Windows XP en adelante, y Mac OS 8.6 en adelante

El proceso de la Solicitud de certificado digital debe ser totalmente hecho en Internet Explorer. El fallar a seguir las instrucciones provocará que el proceso no sea completado debidamente y retrasará el procesamiento para la obtención de su Certificado Digital.

The Digital Certificate Request process must be made in its ent i rety us ing Internet Explorer . Failure to follow instructions may cause the process to not be completed properly and therefore delaying the availability of your Digital Certificate.

La contraseña asignada por usted dentro del proceso de la Solicitud de certificado digital será única y exclusivamente conocida por usted. Es recomendable que escriba y guarde en un lugar seguro la referencia donde tenga escrita la contraseña ya que DTE, LLC no tiene acceso ni forma de recuperar esta. De perder la contraseña de su Certificado Digital, tendrá que notificarlo para proceder a someter un nuevo proceso de Solicitud de certificado digital el cual conlleva un costo operacional adicional.

The password provided during the Digital Certificate Request process will be solely and exclusively known by you. It is recommended that the password is written and safe kept, since, we have no way of accessing or retrieving it. If the Digital Certificate’s password is lost, DTE, LLC must be notified so that a new Digital Certificate Request process can be made available, hence, involving some additional charges of operation.

No se podrán efectuar correcciones a la Solicitud de certificado digital luego de haber presionado el botón de Apply for DTE Custom Client Certificate. Asegúrese que la información correcta esté en los campos antes de proceder, ya que una vez sometida, no podrá ser modificada. De encontrar información incorrecta, comuníquese con nosotros.

No corrections can be made to the Digital Certificate Request after the Apply for DTE Custom Client Certificate button has been pressed. Make sure that the correct information is present in the fields before proceeding, since once submitted, it cannot be modified. If incorrect information is found, contact us.

El año de vigencia de su Certificado Digital comenzará a partir del momento en que someta el proceso de la Solicitud de certificado digital.

ADVERTENCIA WARNING El acceso a esta solicitud estará abierto solo por 90 días. De pasarse este periodo, será necesario el pago de re inicialización para poder tener acceso nuevamente.

Windows 10 Users

Asegúrese que el browser que utilice sea Internet Explorer. Este sistema operativo contiene un nuevo explorador llamado Microsoft Edge, el cual por el momento NO se puede usar para realizar la solicitud de firmas digitales. El mismo contiene un logo parecido al de Internet Explorer, y es el que tiene puesto por defecto el sistema para usarse. Internet Explorer si se encuentra en su máquina. Solo tiene que realizar un search para que pueda seleccionarlo y utilizarlo. En la barra inferior, donde dice “Search the web and Windows”, o vea una lupa, haga una búsqueda por los términos “Internet Explorer”, y la pantalla se lo mostrara para seleccionarlo y usarlo.

Make sure the browser you use is Internet Explorer. This operating system contains a new browser called Microsoft Edge, which, for the moment, CAN NOT be used for the application of digital signatures. It contains a logo similar to Internet Explorer, and is the one that the system hast set for default for use. Internet Explorer is installed on your machine. Simply do a search so you can select it and use it. In the bottom bar, press where it says "Search the Web and Windows", or press the magnifying glass icon to perform a search for the terms "Internet Explorer", and the display will show it to select it and use it.

Paso 1 Step 1 Dentro de Internet Explorer, haga clic sobre Tools en la barra superior izquierda, o el símbolo de un engrane a la esquina derecha.

Paso 2 Step 2

Escoja la opción de Internet options.

Choose Internet options.

Paso 3 Step 3

Seleccione la pestaña de Security.

Paso 4 Step 4

Escoja Trusted sites ( ) y dele al botón de

Sites ( ).

Click Trusted sites ( ) and press the Sites

( ) button.

Paso 5 Step 5 Verifique que la dirección de https://request.dtellcpr.com ( ) esté escrita en el campo de Add this website to the zone, l uego presione el botón de Add ( ) y luego el de Close ( ).

Make sure the address entered on the Add this website to the zone field is https://request.dtellcpr.com ( ), press the Add (B) button and then Close (C) button.

Paso 6 Step 6

Escoja primer Internet ( ), y luego presione

el botón de Custom level… ( )

Choose Internet ( ) first, then, press the

Custom level… ( ) button

Paso 7 Step 7 Utilizando el Scrollbar provisto en la ventana, baje hasta encontrar el grupo de alternativas denominado Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt. Marque Enable dentro de este grupo.

Scroll down to the group of options denominated as Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt. Choose the Enable option inside this group.

Al seleccionar esta opcion, algunos sistemas

la marcaran en color . Puede continuar con el procedimiento normal. Al finalizar, le indicaremos los pasos para revertir las opciones a su estado normal.

By selecting this option, some systems will

Paso 8 Step 8 Siga hacia abajo hasta encontrar la opción Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting y seleccione Enable.

Continue scrolling down unt i l you f ind Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting and choose Enable.

Al seleccionar esta opcion, algunos sistemas

Paso 9 Step 9 Continúe bajando en la ventana provista hasta encontrar la opción Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins, y escoja Enable ( ). Luego presione el botón de OK ( ).

Continue scrolling down until find Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins, select Enable ( ). Proceed to press the OK ( ) button.

Al seleccionar esta opcion, algunos sistemas

Paso 10 Step 10

Presione Yes.

Press Yes.

Si usted es usuario nuevo, y esta pantalla no aparece, puede que el proceso de solicitud de la firma digital no sea procesado correctamente. Asegúrese de haber activado las opciones mencionadas anteriormente. Si es usuario bajo renovación, probablemente estas opciones estaban activadas previamente, por lo cual puede continuar con el procedimiento.

If you are a new user, and this screen does not appear, the application process the digital signature is not processed correctly. Make sure you have enabled the options mentioned above. For users under renovation, probably these options were previously activated, so you can continue with the procedure.

Paso 11 Step 11

Primero, presione el botón de Apply ( ) y

luego al de OK ( ).

De no presionar los botones en el orden indicado, el proceso hecho hasta este paso pudiera ser perdido.

If the buttons are not pressed in the right order, the progress might be lost.

Paso 12 Step 12 Cierre Internet Explorer y vuélvalo a abrir, acceda a nuestra página entrando a

en el espacio indicado y presione Enter en su teclado.

Close and reopen Internet Explorer, access our webpage by typing www.dtellcpr.com on the indicated field and press Enter on your keyboard.

Paso 13 Paso 13 En la barra superior diríjase a Profesional

Associations ( ), y ahí escoja CAAPPR (B).

At the top bar go to Professional Associations (A), and there choose CAAPPR (B).

Paso 14 Step 14 Vaya hacia abajo y donde indica “Complete the Digital Certificate Request Process” presione el boton de “Click Here”.

Scroll down, and where it says “Complete the Digital Certificate Request Process” press the “Click Here” button.

Paso 15 Step 15 Lea las instrucciones, y luego presione el botón azul al final que dice “Apply for your digital certificate! Click Here.”

Read the instructions, and then, press the blue button at the end “Apply for your digital certificate! Click Here.”

Favor de leer las instrucciones que se encuentran antes de presionar el botón. De no cumplir con algunas de las instrucciones, su solicitud puede que no se procese correctamente, causando atraso en la emisión de su certificado digital. Además, de incurrir en gastos adicionales por la reinicialización o revocación de cualquier firma digital.

Please read the instructions found before pressing the button. Failure to comply with some of the instructions, your application may not be processed properly, causing delay in the issuance of the digital certificate. Paso 16 Step 16 Entre su dirección de correo electrónico en el campo denominado como User Name ( ) y la contraseña en el campo llamado Password ( ). Luego de haber llenado la información necesaria, presione el botón de Log In ( ).

Enter your email address in the field denominated as User Name ( ) and the password in the field called Password ( ). After having filled in the necessary information, press the Log In ( ) button.

Corresponde al email que asigno al momento de registrarse. Asegúrese de escribir su email completo con la extensión que corresponda (@gmail, @yahoo, @hotmail, etc...)

Email corresponds to that assigned at registration. Be sure to write your full email with the appropriate extension (@gmail, @yahoo, @hotmail, etc ...)

Asignado al momento de registrarse con nosotros. Consiste de mínimo 6 caracteres entre letras, números o símbolos.

Assigned when registering with us. It consists of at least 6 characters between letters, numbers or symbols.

En caso de no tener esta información, favor de contactarnos o visitar nuestra página de internet para el proceso de recuperación.

Should not have this information, please contact us or visit our website for the recovery process.

Paso 17 Step 17

Presione el eslabón llamado Solicitud de Certificado Digital.

Press the Solicitud de Certificado Digital link.

Si encuentra otro mensaje, asegúrese que haya sometido el pago correcto. Además, de que su información se haya validada con el CAAPPR. Deberá comunicarse con nosotros.

If you find another message, make sure you have submitted the correct payment. In addition, your information has been validated with CAAPPR. You should contact us.

Paso 18 Step 18

Presione Yes.

Click Yes.

Si usa uno de estos sistemas, esta ventana puede que n o salga. Si no sale, no podrá completar el procedimiento debido a que esto sistemas ya no cuentan con soporte para nuevas tecnologías, por lo cual necesitara realizar el procedimiento en una computadora con Windows 7 en adelante.

If you are using any of those, this message could not show up. If not, you cannot complete the procedure because this system no longer have support for new technologies, which will need to perform the procedure on a computer with Windows 7 onwards.

De NO salir esta ventana, el proceso de Solicitud de Certificado Digital no será sometido adecuadamente en el sistema y por lo tanto, usted no recibirá su Certificado Digital.

If this popup message DOES NOT show up, the Digital Certificate Request will not be submitted properly on our systems, therefore, the Digital Certificate will not be made available.

Paso 19 Step 19 Los campos de la solicitud aparecerán llenos con la información que nos proporcionó al hacer el registro. Verifique que la información esté correcta. De no estarlo, por favor contáctenos. Si todo está bien, lo primero que hará es asegurarse que la opción “Advanced Private Key Options...” esté disponible. Si es así presione sobre ella.

The fields on the request form will be filled with the information provided at the moment of registration. Make sure this information is correct. If not, please contact us. If all is well, the first thing it will do is make sure the "Advanced Private Key Options ...” option is available. If so, press on it.

Los campos de información no son editables, por lo tanto, si ve algún error, debe notificarnos antes de seguir con el proceso.

Si usted no ve en la pantalla la línea de Advanced Private Key Options…, debe buscar apoyo técnico, ya que su Certificado Digital no podrá ser sometido adecuadamente.

If you don’t see Advanced Private Key Options… in the request form, you must seek technical support, since your Digital Certificate will not be submitted properly.

Paso 20 Step 20 Asegúrese que las siguientes opciones aparezcan según la imagen provista a continuación: Solo marque la opción User protected?

Make sure the following items appear as shown in the image provided below: Check the User protected?

Si estas opciones no aparecen, o aparecen con una configuración diferente, NO CONTINUE EL PROCESO. De lo contrario la solicitud no se recibirá, y su certificado no será sometido. Asegúrese que el navegador de internet que esté utilizando sea Internet Explorer. Si es así, y la configuración es diferente, favor de contactarnos.

If these options do not appear, or appear in a different configuration, DO NOT CONTINUE THE PROCESS. Otherwise the application will not be received, and your certificate will not be submitted. Make sure the Internet browser you are using is Internet Explorer. If so, and the configuration is different, please contact us.

Paso 21 Step 21 Volviendo al formulario en línea, favor de escribir la contraseña que desea asignar a su firma digital. Esta contraseña es SOLO para la firma digital. Es la contraseña que utilizara para FIRMAR los documentos, y no es la misma que utiliza para entrar a nuestra página de internet. Adicional, esta contraseña NO SE GUARDA en nuestro sistema. Una vez elija la que vaya a usar, escríbala en el campo provisto llamado Challenge Password.

Returning to the online form, please enter the password you want to assign to your digital signature. This password is ONLY for the digital signature. Is the password you will use to SIGN the documents, and is not the same as used to enter our website. Further, this password is NOT STORED in our system. Once you choose you will use, enter it in the provided field called Challenge Password.

ATENCIÓN ATTENTION Por motivos de seguridad, se recomienda que la contraseña a utilizarse con su Certificado Digital cuando mínimo este compuesta de letras y números, y tenga un largo de 8 caracteres o más.

For security reasons, we recommend that the password used with your Digital Certificate be composed of at least a combination of letters and numbers, and has a total length of eight characters or more.

Esta contraseña no se guarda en nuestro sistema. Por lo tanto, debe asegurarse que lo que coloque este correcto, y no perderla. De lo contrario, será necesario revocar el certificado, y realizar el proceso nuevamente, lo cual conllevara un costo adicional.

This password is not saved in our system. Make sure that what you type it in correctly, and do not lose it. Otherwise, it will be required to revoke and perform again the request which will required to pay for this procedure to issue another certificate.

Paso 22 Step 22 Presione el boton Apply for DNELabs Custom Client Certificate.

Press the Apply for DNELabs Custom Client Certificate button.

Paso 23 Step 23

Presione Set Security Level…

Press Set Security Level…

NO PRESIONAR OK. Si por error presiona el botón de OK, favor de comunicarse con nosotros inmediatamente, para evitar cualquier problema con la firma digital.

DO NO PRESS OK. If by mistake you press the OK button, please contact us immediately to avoid any problems with the digital signature.

Paso 24 Step 24

Marque la alternativa de High ( ) y presione

Next > ( ).

Select the High ( ) alternative and press Next

> ( ).

Paso 25 Step 25

Donde dice Password ( ) escriba su Challenge Password (según escrita en el Paso 12). Vuelva a escribirla donde dice

Confirm ( ). Una vez terminado, presione

Finish ( ).

Write the Challenge Password (as written on

Step 12) on both the Password ( ) and

Confirm ( ) fields, then press Finish ( ).

Asegúrese que la contraseña que utilice sea la correcta. Recuerde que no tenemos manera de recuperar la misma. Si el certificado es emitido con una contraseña inválida, tendremos que realizar el proceso de revocación y reinicialización, el cual conlleva gastos adicionales para usted.

Make sure that the password you use is correct. Remember that we have no way to recover it. If the certificate is issued with an invalid password, we must make the revocation process and reboot, which entails additional costs for you.

Paso 26 Step 26 De vuelta a esta pantalla, presione sobre el botón de OK.

Back on this screen, press on the OK button.

Paso 27 Step 27 Una nueva pantalla aparecerá, como se muestra a continuación. Presione en el botón de Close Window para culminar.

A new screen will appear, as shown below. Click on the Close Window button to finish.

De usted no ver la pantalla indicada previamente, la solicitud no se procesara correctamente. Comuníquese con nosotros para orientarle sobre cómo puede corregirlo.

If you do not see the screen previously indicated, the application will not be processed correctly. Contact us to guide you on how you can correct it.

Una vez finalizado el proceso, presione “ ” que se encuentra arriba para cerrar la sesión.

Once finished, press “ " found above to close the session.

Su firma digital se emitirá en un plazo de dos a cinco días laborables. Recibirá una notificación con las instrucciones de como descargar la misma e instalarla.

Your digital signature will be issued within two to five business days. You receive a notification with instructions on how to download it and install it.

La firma digital solo podrá instalarse en la computadora donde haya realizado estos pasos. Después de instalada, podrá crear una copia a cual podrá usar para instalar su firma digital en cualquier otra computadora.

The digital signature can only be installed on the computer where you have completed these steps. After installed, you can create a copy which you can use to install your digital signature on any other computer.

Es sumamente importante que realice la copia de su firma digital, para evitar que esta se pierda. De lo contrario, tendrá que solicitar una nueva, incurriendo en gastos adicionales de revocación y reinicialización.

It is extremely important that you back your digital signature to prevent loss. Otherwise, you will need to request a new, incurring additional costs of cancellation and reboot.
