When you work in our London office, you’re an international lawyer

advising clients with business and interests in Europe, Africa, the

Middle East, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.

The London office is our largest outside of our New York City

headquarters. It has more than 80 lawyers and trainees and has been

in existence for more than 45 years.

At the start of your training contract, you’ll spend a week on

orientation in New York, introducing you to our global practice and

your colleagues around the world.

for our vacation schemeThe best way to see firsthand what a trainee does with us is through our vacation scheme.

We offer a two-week summer placement scheme, where you get hands-on experience with

our work, training and culture. We also organise social opportunities, making this a great

introduction to S&C. Participants are paid £500 per week.

We accept applications from:

� final-year non-law students

� students pursuing post-graduate degrees

join Flexible training contract

Our training contract is flexible and built around your interests.

You’ll spend time in at least four seats, covering at least three

practice areas. However, our broad training doesn’t restrict you to

any one practice area on qualification. That means you get the legal,

technical and organisational skills you’ll need to be an all-around

business lawyer.

We encourage our trainees to support the London office’s pro bono practice.

The office provides legal advice to a number of charities and not-for-profit

organisations based in the UK and overseas.

In addition, we support a wide range of community initiatives, such as the

Urban Lawyers and Stonewall.

and benefits package We offer the most attractive trainee salary and benefits package of

any major law firm in London.

The salary for trainees is £55,000 in the first year and £60,000 in the

second year.

We cover your Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course

fees, pay a maintenance grant and you’re also eligible to receive a

year-end bonus.
