10 Sheet AD-111, Note 18. States to contact Ray Waterworth for pricing regarding IDS work. Could you provide contact information?
Alternate POC: Steve Damron Physical Security Specialist Fort Rucker, Alabama [email protected]
IDS is in contractor SOW. 11 In SolAm3 Attachment 4 Plans & Drawing, CS401 in
inserted in the CD drawing sequence. I believe this should have been CD401. This drawing in identified as revised in SolAm3 Attachment 1, but is not included in Attachment 5.
Cyntergy has only issued Addendum #2 for this project. Of this addendum sheet CS401 was issued but sheet CD401 was not. Both sheets CS401 and CD401 were part of the original solicitation set.
12 Do you foresee extending the due date as a result of the restrictions put in place due to COVID-19? I have been told that contractors have no access to the post, at this time. Many of us are social distancing from home offices and even stricter policies seem to be being put in place each day. Just curious what AAFES thoughts are?
No extension at this time.
13 Please specifically identify on the plumbing drawings what work is to be included in Option 5 Repair Sanitary and Grease Waste lines at Food BOH. Sheets PD102, P102 and P401 do not identify any Option work in this area. Repair seems to indicate work on existing lines, not any of the new work to the new food court tenants.
Work indicated on 2/P-401 and same area on sheet 1/PD-102 shall be included in Option #5.
14 Please confirm all work on the M Drawings (mechanical) is to be included in Option 1. The note on Sheet M-001 in the upper right-hand corner seems to indicate this.
Option #1 shall include only materials, labor, and equipment related to the demo of existing HVAC system and installation of new HVAC system.
15 Is Door signage required? Room and door signage is CF/CI for all rooms and doors. Refer Section 101400.

PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 INSTALLATION
A. Comply with HI 1.4.
B. Install pumps with access for periodic maintenance including removal of motors, impellers, couplings, and accessories.
C. Independently support pumps and piping so weight of piping is not supported by pumps and weight of pumps is not supported by piping.
D. Install in-line, sealless or close-coupled, horizontally mounted, in-line centrifugal pumps with motor and pump shafts horizontal.
E. Install continuous-thread hanger rods and of sufficient size Mechanical Vibration to support pump weight. Fabricate brackets or supports as required. Hanger and support materials are specified in Division 22 Section "Hangers and Supports for Plumbing Piping and Equipment."
F. Install immersion-type thermostats in hot-water return piping.
G. Install timers adjacent to pumps.
H. Piping installation requirements are specified in other Division 22 Sections. Drawings indicate general arrangement of piping, fittings, and specialties.
I. Install piping adjacent to pumps to allow service and maintenance.
J. Connect domestic water piping to pumps. Install suction and discharge piping equal to or greater than size of pump nozzles. Refer to Division 22 Section "Domestic Water Piping."
1. Install flexible connectors adjacent to pumps in suction and discharge piping of close-coupled, horizontally mounted, in-line centrifugal pumps.
2. Install shutoff valve and strainer on suction side of pumps, and check valve and throttling valve on discharge side of pumps. Install valves same size as connected piping. Refer to Division 22
