• When Pluto travels around the sun, it goes in a long narrow path or orbit, it crosses into Neptune’s orbit. In January 2006, a spacecraft named New Horizons blasted off for Pluto. Pluto’s moons name is Charon. •There are 44 dwarf planets in the solar system. The four largest dwarf planets are Eris, Pluto, Makemake and Ceres. Scientists have sent space probes to these planets.
