    RESISTIVITY SURVEY EXPERIMENT REPORT

    Location- Yermala (N 1810949sec E 07530717sec. approximately)

    CTF Yard,

    Client Name :

    Ref :

    Site Eng. :

    Surface Geology:

The location is part of upper reaches of small watershed. Catchment for ground water is not

sufficient. Slope direction is at NE. Soil is yellowish-muroom mixed. Soil thickness is very less. Out crops of

insitu basalt at the base of first & second order stream are seen.

    A. Sub-surface formation set-up as per resistivity experiment. :First 0 to 43 feet is Hard Basalt Rock. 43 feet to 100 feet is collapsible soft, weathered rock or ash beds.

100 feet to 120 feet is fractured Basalt.

120 feet to 264 feet is non-fractured & slightly fractured Basalt with slight variation in rock after 230 feet.

After 264 feet there is moderately fractured Basalt.

Present Resistivity Survey indicates better water source at 90 feet At the depth

below 300 feet second water source exists. The water may increase below the depth of

300 feet. Total yield nearly 3 inch.

The soft & collapsible bed zones needs to be closed/sealed by installing the inner

    casings.

Collapsible bed zones needs to be identified when the drilling is going on.

    B. Bore Location: Test drill should be taken at the suggestedPoint Location No. 1 at thesite under survey. That may encounter water.

Area need to be surveyed in detail at many locations for finding sufficient ground water. Finding many water producing

point locations on different fracture lines can collectively yield good amount of water. Government Rues must be

    followed for drilling work.
