SPM Software – Assets and Mobile

OVERVIEW OF THE MARCH RELEASE

This Release Notice provides an overview of the improvements made to SPM Assets’ software since

the December 2013 release – the related user guides have also been updated.

Over the past few months we have focused on system performance improvements and fixes which

have been released continuously, including changes to Project Planner, Survey Planner, Mobile and

search functionality. These changes are summarised below.

1 SUMMARY OF IMPROVEMENTS AND DEFECTS

1.1 Definitions:

• Improvement – a new or ‘improved’ function that SPM Assets has scoped to improve the way the software operates

• Defects – addressing a known issue or bug

1.2 Changes in this Release

Improvement Rename ‘Analyse’ to ‘Clear’ within Project

Planning

This function allows for the adopted

budget to be removed and then a new

budget can be entered. The improvement

relates to clarifying the terminology of

the function.

Improvement Select functionality from Survey Planner The filtered selection within Survey

Planner can be used for the next action.

For example if five properties of 1,000

are selected, in Survey Planner, then only

the five properties will display when

component workspace or the properties

report is selected.

viewed, updated or extracted from the
