Easy integration to existing systems

Operators usually do not start from the scratch when they start offering access to inter-active OTT services in addition to linear broadcast TV services. Already existing servers and other systems such as billing, CAS, middleware and transcoders can be integrated with Ubique to build comprehensive interactive video platforms.

Typically integration is done using REST application interface and Ubique supports two different REST API’s. Backend API exchanges information between middlewares and backend systems while Customer API works with end applications and portals. Both interfaces offer broadcaster performance meeting strict reliability requirements.
