The Placement Cell of the college facilitates

on campus recruitment by giving a common

platform to students seeking jobs. The mission of

Training and Placement Cell is to achieve maximum

placement for students through dedication, attitude

and complete involvement. The Placement Cell of

Bon Secours College for Women aims at making

available quality placement opportunities for the

students of the college. It acts as an interface

between the students of the college and various

companies that come for recruitment.

TRAINING & PERSONALITY

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR WOMEN

Rexona Confidence academy program is conducted

in our campus by Hindustan unilever Limited on

October 3rd

2019, as a two hour workshop by

Sudha.A,B.E., M.S(UK)., Academic trainer. She is a

trained counsellor who aims to ready young girls to

crack their interviews and face the challenges of the

corporate world. She presented short documentaries

that will help them understand the importance of

personality development, Grooming, It is intended

Placement Cell arranged 3 Days TCS Recruitment Training

Programme in our college premises, With reference to the TCS

Smart Hiring Science Graduates – 2020 Recruitment

Programme, attaching a Workshop Planner to train the

students in the core areas of Quantative aptitude & Resume

building skills for this Online Test. 141 Students Participated

from B.C,A, CS, IT & Mathematics attended Training

SOFT SKILL TRAINING PROGRAMME

The placement cell of Bon Secours College, Thanjavur

creates a platform for the students to showcase their

talents. From the inception of Placement Cell we have

successfully placed a large section of graduates in

leading companies. This year especially, the

performance has been overwhelming. Initially the

Training and Placement cell has invited experts from

various fields to train our UG students from 2nd March

2020 to 06th March 2020. The opening ceremony of the

Soft Skill was started with the prayer song by the choir

girls and Ms.N.Vijayalakshmi, placement coordinator

welcomed the Dignitaries on the dias.

GUIDANCE FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION

Mr.K.Arunkumar, Managing Director, SAI

IAS Academy, Thanjavur offered coaching sessions.

During this year 1434 students of various departments

got the benefit of the programme.

TCS CAMPUS RECRUITMENT DRIVE 2020

TCS has conducted campus drive on 12th

MARCH 2020 held at Multipurpose hall in Bon

Secours College for women, Thanjavur. The campus

drive started with the prayer song and Dr.Sr.Cathelina,

Principal ,Bon secours college for women motivated

and supported the students of this campus drive . A

panel of Three members under the headship of Mr

Sriram chandramurthi, Hr Team Leader, TCS , Mr

Anil Kumar, Senior Hr Manager,TCS & Mr Nayeem

Khan, Hr Manager ,TCS, scrutinized the talents of the

students. . 135 final year students from all the

disciplines participated in the campus interview. 89

students were qualified in the aptitude test. Interview.

Interview results were declared at the end of the

session. Finally, 21 students were selected in the final

INTERCOLLEGIATE JOB FAIR-2020

Placement Cell organized “Job Fair – 2020” on

28.02.2019 held at Sesquicetenery Block in Bon

Secours College for women, Thanjavur at our

campus.Ms.N.Vijayalakshmi, placement

coordinator welcomed the Dignitaries on the dias

and HR of the various companies and students of

the different colleges. The Job Fair was graced by

Dr.Sr.Cathelina, Principal ,Bon secours college

for women. The Chief Guest Mr. Nayeem Khan,

HR – TCS gave an Inaugural address in which he

talks about the placement provide you with a good

platform to network and build rapport with

prospective employers. Above 1100 students from

our Institutions and from various colleges were

interviewed by more than 24 Corporate

companies. 935 students of our college were

recruited by various companies. The students were

recruited based on their performance in the
