SODERVE’S MISSION Our mission at Soderves is to deliver average products, typically coming in glass jars, in easy to carry formats for picnicking purposes. The “Soda Bottle” format was chosen as a shock method – one does not usually see olives, pickles, or other hors d'oeuvres in this type of container, making it an ideal shape to break the jar stereotype. The target audi- ence is women between the ages of 30-56, generally married, who are planning a picnic. The packaging looks some- what feminine in nature, and I find that women, especially those with children, have a greater propensity to be actually planning a picnic. Obviously, anyone of any age could be interested in hors d'oeuvres in the Soderves packaging, but marketing strategies will be focused on the demographic stated above. !
