Since 1980, Côte d’Ivoire has been progressively
emerging as a potential oil and gas producing
country. With the recents discoveries in the deep
offshore, the country is about to become a new
petroleum province.
This presentation highlights oil and gas exploration
opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire by focusing on some
key prospects in the deepwater blocks.

Two sensors are better than one
 Higher signal-to-noise ratio
 Deeper tow means quieter environment
Increased bandwidth – especially in the lows
 Better penetration (salt, basalt)
 Greater resolution (stratigraphic inversion)
 More accurate Q estimation
 Improved multiple attenuation
 Improved imaging
 4D compatible
