• The Society of Astronomers of Serbia is founded on 25.02.1981 and now has around 70 members. Majority are professional astronomers (all astronomers working in Astronomical Observatory and Department of Astronomy of Mathematical faculty), but also some astronomers working in secondary schools and astronomers amateurs.
• 2012-2014 the principal activities of the

POPULARIZATION OF ASTRONOMYPOPULARIZATION OF ASTRONOMY
In schools, cultural institutions and cultural manifestations (like Festival of Science or Book fair), in various towns in Serbia and Republic of Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina were organized “Days of Astronomy” with lectures and projections in Mobile Planetarium.
During 2012 they are visited by 7510 persons. It was 38 lectures with 2230 and 176 Mobile Planetarium projections with 5280 visitors, organized in 23 towns and villages.
During 2013 they are visited by 9647 persons. It was 11 lectures with 610 and 312 Mobile Planetarium projections with 9617 visitors, organized in 16 towns and villages.
