PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS If you have recently scored above 500 on the paper-based TOEFL (iBT-61) or IELTS 5.5, or have comparable proof of English Language Profi ciency, you may take up to 12 units of undergraduate courses, or a combination of undergraduate classes and intensive English classes. Permission to take university classes is subject to a placement test and other conditions.
APPLICATION STEPS International students need an F-1 visa to attend University Semester Abroad. To receive an I-20, please submit the following:1. Completed application form with your
signature2. Signature of your fi nancial sponsor on
the sponsor section of the application form
3. Original bank document or scholarship verifi cation of support funds
4. Non-refundable application processing fee of $100 in the form of a check or international money order payable to Cal State Fullerton
5. Photocopy of passport information page
6. Original high school or university transcript with in-progress courses
7. Copy of TOEFL or IELTS offi cial test results.

Application submissions must allow enough time (up to 12 weeks) for processing, class schedule coordination, preparing the I-20 and mailing it to you to obtain a student visa from a U.S. embassy or consulate.
Health InsuranceHealth insurance is available for $89 per month for students 30 years old or younger, and $113 for students 31-49 years old. Qualifying Health Insurance is mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 visa students.
