PRE-RETIREMENT SEMINARS

It’s your future. Join a representative from the UM System Pension & Deferred Compensation Office

and Human Resources to understand how retirement benefits are calculated, what to consider when

deciding the best date to retire, available benefit options, and more. These seminars are for retirement

eligible employees age 55 with 10 years of service, age 60 with 5 years of service or for employees

within at least 10 years of retirement. Attendees should prepare a Retirement Estimate and bring it to

the session. This estimate can be prepared online through the myHR Self-Service website.

Space is limited to 18 attendees for each session, therefore registration is required. Enroll in a session

at myHR-->Personal Information-->HR Training-myLearn. Select “Pre-Retirement Planning” and

click the launch icon. Select your session and click the “Enroll Me” button.

Dates for these sessions are April 27, July 18, October 16, 2012 and January 24, 2013 from 3:00 –

5:00 p.m. in the TelePresence Suite, University Center, Room 61. For more information, please con-

tact LaQuita Jackson at ext. 6466.

CLIMATE SURVEY REMINDER

During April, all employees and students should have received several e-mails from campus administra-

tion inviting them to participate in a campus-wide Climate Study Survey designed to increase understand-

ing of the learning and working environment at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The survey data

will be used to ensure that UMSL provides a diverse community that is inclusive and welcoming for all.

We encourage all employees to take advantage of this opportunity to offer their opinions and observations

about the campus environment. The survey is available until Friday, April 20th at http://www.umsl.edu/

survey. If you prefer to take the survey on paper, please contact Eileen Holmes in HR or Kathleen Falcon

in the office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity. Paper copies are also available at the Reference Desk in

the Thomas Jefferson Library.

Anyone who participates in the survey will be automatically entered into a drawing for prizes such as an

iPod Shuffle, iTunes gift cards, and UMSL gear.

EXPRESS SCRIPTS PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROGRAM

Express Scripts has established a new process for obtaining their maintenance medication as a 30-day supply at the

retail pharmacies versus a 90-day supply through mail order home delivery.

If you are using a retail pharmacy to pick up your 30 day supply of medication and want to continue, you will have

to notify Express Scripts to continue. When utilizing the mail order home delivery for a 90-day supply of medicine,

you could save money over the cost that you incur when obtaining three 30-day fills through a retail pharmacy.

For more information, please contact Joann Westbrook at x5639.
