You Social Media Spotlight is a partnership between your company and the BDC because this is social. Both parties must work together to gain the maximum reach. BDC Responsibilities: • Uses the appropriate social media platform(s) to create and publish your Social Media Spotlight • Provides content tips, how to share, etc. Member Responsibilities: • Share the post from your business and personal pages • Encourage your employees, customers and friends to do the same • Monitor comment activities on the post • Reply to questions and comments on the post to keep an ongoing conversation There are several ways for you to generate content for your Social Media Spotlight. Original storytelling content is best. While you can also provide content from a recent article written about your company, an image or let’s say a new logo or even a video clip, original content in the form of a story is king. Start with a success story within your company. This could be a new product or a big transaction. If nothing comes to mind, find a recent trend and reverse engineer it to find your story, or this could be a story about you.
