Good GovernanceFinal Product (social innovation) includes: Training Programme for officers consisting of 6 modules divided

into awareness part (concerning the issue, mechanism, and anti-discrimination actions) and practical part (with methods of applying Equality Standard and Equality Index in the public office)

EQUALITY STANDARD is a description of the target situation (the desired state of equality in local government). Standard consists of 10 elements (indicators of equality), whose combined performance and proper application will ensure effective implementation of equality policies in the office. Adoption of the Standard is an expression of commitment of local authorities in promoting the principle of equality and non-discrimination, as well as the declaration of the implementing it on its territory. Standard answers the question: How it should be? What to do to achieve desired state of equality?

EQUALITY INDEX is a tool with which each office can examine and achieve equality standard. It is a comprehensive system for measuring the implementation of quality policy in the public services provided by local government, based on identified in EQUALITY STANDARD indicators.

Index answers the question: how to test and measure the current state of implementation of equality and how to reach a higher level of the Standard?
