Purposes of this module

• To deepen understanding of the social and cultural diversity of learners

• To engage with issues associated with power relations.

       have a parent with a tertiary degree

  were born overseas

        have a family member who speaks a language other than English

        were born in a country/rural area

       are male

        as a child experienced a time when money was ‘tight’

        watched a reality TV show

        have moved house more than four times

       ever felt not good at something

        have ever been a protester/signed a petition

        are female and as a child experienced a time when money was ‘tight’

        were born in rural Australia and have a family member who speaks a language other than English
