From 2012-13, BYU was in the top 10 for 12 consecutive weeks. In program history, BYU is 31-8-4 as a top 10 team and is 10-2-1 this season. The Cougars are on a 14-game home win streak dating back to last year. It is tied for the second longest home winning streak in the nation trailing only Florida State’s 19-game win streak. The Cougars are tied with Texas A&M for the second longest streak. BYU has yet to allow a goal at South Field this season. The shutout streak at home dates back to 2014 and covers the past eight games at South Field. The program record is nine consecutive home shutouts in 1999. The Cougars are also on a 14-game home conference win streak and a 15-game home conference unbeaten streak. The last time BYU lost at home in WCC play was against San Diego on Oct. 29, 2011. With an LMU victory on Friday night, four teams will be tied for first place in the West Coast Conference: San Francisco, Santa Clara, BYU and LMU. Each of the four would be 4-1-0, while the remaining games would all involve BYU. Santa Clara faces BYU on Saturday and BYU hosts LMU on Halloween. According to CollegeSoccer360.com, BYU’s senior class is the 10th winningest class of seniors in the nation with 59 wins. The Cougars are also fifth by winning percentage trailing only Florida State, Virginia, UCLA and Stanford with its .791 winning percentage. Elena Medeiros and Nadia Gomes are tied for the team lead in goals with five each. Gomes, Madie Lyons and Michele Murphy Vasconcelos are tied for the team lead in assists with three each. BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood owns the second best winning percentage in West Coast Confer- ence games at .833. Rockwood is currently 31-5-3 in her fifth year in the West Coast Conference, good for an .855 clip. Portland’s Clive Charles was 61-10-2 in WCC play for a winning percentage of .849 in his 11 years. BYU’s three straight WCC titles are the fifth time a team has won three straight and first since Port- land won four straight from 2007-2010. Santa Clara and Portland have each won three straight and four straight dating back to 1994. The third straight title is also the second time BYU has done it in program history.
