2 532 NCC cadets participated

in Combined Annual Training Camp from 5th

june to 14th june 2016 at SNR SONS College. Best

cadet award and first position in cultural event.

3 300 students participated in

Swachh Bharath Awareness Rally on 10th June 2016

around Siddhapudur area, Coimbatore.

4 All of our 50 cadets participated in International

Yoga Day on 21st June 2016 at Sarvajana School,

Coimbatore.

5 All of our 50 cadets participated in Fresher’s Day

on 30th June 2016 in SNR Auditorium. Displayed the

dummy Rifles and achievements in SNR-NCC.

6 150 of our NCC and other

students attended the

Seminar - Career Guidance in uniform services on 14

July 2016 in SNR conference hall.

17 6 of our cadets participated

in BLC camp from 9th july to 18th july 2016 at karpagam

university.

selection conducted on 16 July 2016 in SNR Campus.

camp from 2-11 Aug 2016 at VHNSN Colege,

Sekar and G.Jothishkumar,

cadets of SNR-NCC participated in

50mtr prone peep sight event 42ndTamil Nadu State

Shooting Championship 2016 from 3rd aug to 7th aug

2016 held at Coimbatore Rifle Club. G.Jothishkumar

scored 542 for 600, total group score was 1603 and

won team Gold medal and B.Sekar scored 571 for 600

and won bronze medal. Also he positioned third

in Champion of champion

competition.

11 300 students involved in

Independence Day Celebration on 15th Aug

2016 in SNR Campus.

12 40 of our cadets attended the Workshop on Indian

Army at CIT ENGINEERING COLLEGE CBE on 1st and

2nd sep 2016.

13 B.Sekar and

G.Jothishkumar, cadets of

SNR-NCC participated in South Zone Shooting

Championship from 20 – 25 Sep 2016 in Madurai Rifle

Club. They won team Gold medal and also achieved

MQS, eligible to attend the Nation Competitions.

14 Blood donation camp : 35 of

our college ncc cadets participated in Blood

donation camp held at Coimbatore government

hospital on 17.09.16. Organised by 6tn med coy

ncc Lt.Col. Joseph Antony commanding officer

inaugurated the programme. Totally 70 units of blood

donated.

15 All of our cadets volunteered in Coimbatore Marathon

event on 02-10-16 held at Race Course, Coimbatore.

GANDHI JAYANTHI celebration on 02.10.2016,

100 of our students from NCC & NSS and Lions Club

of Coimbatore jointly organized an Awareness

Street Play and Cleaning Campaign On Swatch

Bharath Abhiyan in Coimbatore Central Railway

Station.

17 All of our 50 cadets participated in Tree

plantation on 06th Oct 2016 held at SNR. Our team has

placed 20 samplings on that day.

fill the forms during the time of demonetization in Indian

Bank, Siddhapudur Branch, Coimbatore on 22 Nov 2016

prone peep sight shooting event in 26th All India GV

Mavalankar Shooting Championship03 To 15 Nov

2016held at Mumbai. He achieved MQS and selected

for National Shooting Competition.

26th Nov 2016 in SBOA School organized by NCC

Group. 15 of our cadets participated in this

programme.

participated under 50m Rifle prone peep sight shooting

event in60th National Shooting Championship

from 12 To 26 Dec 2016 Balewadi Shooting Range,

Pune. Achieved the MQS and rewarded as an Renowned

Shooter.

on First Aid for our NCC cadets on 5th Jan 17 in SNR

hall.

23 Organized a Guest Lecture on Cashless Transaction

( *99# ) for our NCC Cadets on 10th Jan 17 in SNR hall.

attended the Static Model Display in Sulur Air force on

17th Jan 17.

25 350 students involved in

68th Republic Day

celebration on 26th Jan 17 in SNR campus.

26 Organized a Cashless Transaction Awareness

Programme around Siddhapudur Area,

Coimbatore on 26th Jan 17.

27 3 of our cadets participated

in Army Attachment Camp

in 1/9 Gurkha Rifle, Hyderabad from 01 to 15

February 2017.

28 Organized a Combined Weapon Training programme

in SRCAS Campus for all 6TN unit NCC students on

15 February 2017.

29 19 of our cadets attended the B- Certificate

Examination in PSG Tech on 18 & 19 February 2017.

30 Organized an NCC Seminar

on Importance and Recruitments of Army,

resource person: Col.M.Peter Celestine Sena Medal, GC of

NCC Coimbatore Group 3rd Mar17 in SNR Hall. 100 NCC

students attended this seminar and benefited. Our

NCC cadets Displayed Bridge Models and Line Area

Display. Also did Guard of Honour Drill to Receive our

chief guest.

31 NCC Felicitation Programme organized by NCC Group for

achieved NCC cadets on 10 Mar 17.

32 19 of our cadets attended the C- Certificate

Examination in PSG Arts college on 04 & 05 February

2017.

33 10 of cadets participated in World No Tobacco Day –

Rally organized by CCF & NCC on 31st May 17 around

GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore.
