THE PROBLEMSnowboard labels are stickers that often clash or cover the design of the board and include irrelevant and unnecessary information.

THE SOLUTIONMaking a swing tag style label instead of a sticker with minimal, essential content.

The ProblemEssentially the problem at hand is how to show the relevant and appropriate information about the board without clashing with or covering the design of the board.

The ProductMaking a swing-tag will lose the risk of covering the board design and gives much more freedom in terms of the possible formats.

Nike iDBI have taken the concept and designs from an earlier project, Brief One: Nike iDB so the labels are for the boards created on the interactive hub.

The Format 4 colour process print onto postcard sized 240gsm card, with a laminate finish to prevent the white becoming dirty from handling and interaction with it.

The ProductA swing tag for a custom Nike iDB snowboard, attached to the screws which hold the bindings on the board. The contents of which consist of a short intro to the board and Nike iDB, the stats of the board from the choices made, and the colour represented by scaled up swatches.Nothing unnecessary.
