Anybody for some Snot? Our experiment focused on making some fake snot! Snot or mucus, as gross

as it sounds, serves an important purpose in our bodies.

We needed to create our fake snot using: Boiling Water, Styrofoam Cup, Gelatin, Golden Syrup, Teaspoon and Fork.

Anybody to eat it? The gelatin is edible!!

Add 3 heaped teaspoons into the boiling water and let it settle

Add a quarter of a cup of golden syrup and stir until it becomes stringy

Slowly add water as the mixture cools.

Ehh, FinitoMucus is made mostly Sugars and Protein. The long strands as you can see <---------- when you moved it around are protein strands!

These protein strands make our snot sticky and capable of stretching!
