People take snapshots every day on their phones of people, places, and things…let’s make a

snapshot of the texts we read!

Chunk 11. Read Chunk 1 aloud.2. Read Chunk 1 again silently, underlining every

My Model of Chunk 1The United Nations said that 3,000 children soldiers,

from the ages of 11-17, were released from having to fight for the government, this past Tuesday, January 27, 2015. The first 280 children to be released took off their fatigues and came to the village of Gumuruk in war-ravaged South Sudan. Officials said these children had been forced to do things that a child should never ever experience, and sadly, these children had never gotten to do normal children’s things like attending school. More children will be released in the coming weeks.
