Don’t miss Sunday morning’s service as we not only start our “Month of
Prayer” series, but take time to pray for Principles, teachers and pupils at East-
side’s schools, and the schools of our city. Why not take a few minutes to
invite your child’s teacher, or a teacher that you are connected to, to join us

Our partnership with international (8 countries) organisation ‘red frogs’ was fur-
thered this week as one of the leaders, brenden, joined us from australia yes-
terday to assist us in planning the best way forward and giving us 15 years
worth of wisdom. Brendan’s meeting with Riaan and Mark was a great ‘meeting
of the minds’ and it was confirmed that we share the same vision - reaching
secular people for christ. while in pretoria, brenden also met with the redfrogs
crew and shared some of the great stories that have come out of redfrogs work
across the world.
the highlight of brenden’s time with us must be this: Mark, Brenden and
Camille, a TUKS Student, walked the passages of tuks to try connect with the
right people. After a fair amount of concern and resistance (which is justificed,
considering the university do not know who we are), it is official: ECC will have
a RED FROGS crew at TUKS RAG this Saturday. volunteers will be operating a
‘hydration station’, offering cold water, icey’s and redfrog sweets to students
who have had too much to drink, while others walk around meeting people in
the crowd and offering assistance where possible. the crowd and offering assistance where possible.
pray with us this saturday, that we will be able to connect with students, and
become recognized as a group of students willing to get our hands dirty in order
to be a blessing to other students.
