4.2. Inspect Pressed Snap against the given approved mock-up.

Satin pillow test should be done by quality department

Defective garments should put to the popper reject box and only good garments should pass to end line

4.4. Defect Identification.

Pull test is carried-out to ensure the Snap attaching process & machine setting are accurate in order to achieve Customer quality requirements of Pull force testing and to ensure it is complying with safety requirements of the particular Customer.

4.5. Button Pull Test.

Procedure

Pull Test machine Calibration; The Pull test machine is Calibrated by using 15 lbs (6.82kg) Dead weight.

The Dead weight is Calibrated from BSTI.

Machine must be Calibrated daily before the Test.

Accepted variation of calibration is +/- 10% for pull force testing. Pull Test; Snap attached samples from particular style are Tested daily as per Buyer requirement of Pull force.

Pressure is applied on testing snap by increasing gradually until reach the Buyer specified force requirements for recommended time.

If the Snap is pulled out with in the mentioned pressure & time, the Machine has to be stopped & Do required adjustments, check, re- set & re-calibrate & ensure ok for the Test.

And same Pull test need to be carried-out on 3 samples in case of changing any Die mid of the production. Thank you !!!
